Hotel Huito is a clean, quiet, reasonably priced hotel facility in the middle of Leticia. The people were very friendly and accommodating to me. I had stayed at another hotel earlier in my trek and switched to this one after a jungle trek. Very clean and the folks are constantly cleaning, sweeping and polishing. They are just finishing repainting the wall mural over the swimming pool, it should be complete now.

A nice place to stay in Leticia

The location is perfect.Everything was in walking distance.
The town is less than a 5 minute walk and there are many restaurant options all around.
The hotel and its staff are really friendly and peaceful. 
Great service at a low price. 
The rooms are clean and comfortable and are cleaned daily.

Good Location

Property is clean and very basic. There is no restaurant.
Wifi is useless.
Rooms are very basic and no hot water.....sometimes no water.
Would not stay here again as it was expensive compared to competition.

Very average

Close to the city centre, rooms are big and comfortable without spending a lot. The Amazon is not the cheapest place to visit and this hotel is good enough for their prices.

It would be good if they serve breakfast in the future. Internet connection is very slow but this is the rule in Leticia

Good location and value

It is hard to rate Hotel Huito by stars. We arrived in Leticia with a paid reservation at The Decameron but there was a big mixup and they did not have a room for us. Being the busy Christmas break time, Hotel Huito was the only place with room so we went there. The "hotel" is in a very good location, more of a residential neighbourhood but easy to walk anywhere. The property was quite nice, there was a nice pool area ( could have had a few comfy chairs) and a very pretty area in the centre of all the rooms with beautiful plants and trees and two big tables to eat at. The rooms were very very basic. We had a room with two beds, but there were some with more beds as well. The beds were quite comfortable, the pillows were HORRIBLE!!! After spending the first night trying to sleep on my bunched up clothes instead, we bought pillows the next day. The room had an air conditioner which cooled off quickly and was wonderful to have in that climate. Other than the beds, there was one small nightstand, and two small shelves, very basic, but hey, you are in the Amazon. The bathroom was small, and the shower only cold water but at least we had a private bathroom. Unfortunately they did not serve breakfast, which would have been really nice, especially when we left early in the morning for tours, but there was a wonderful bakery a block away that opened early, and they really tried to understand our limited Spanish. There were small fridges outside each room if you wanted to use them. There was wifi but understandably it didn't always work very well. The rooms did not have a safe which would have been very helpful, we had to carry our money and passports with us all the time which wasn't ideal. On the plus side, it was $100,000 pesos a night for two people so was certainly reasonable for a place to sleep. 

Great for what it was

I stayed at this hotel and was very upset with the treatment I received. When returning from dinner, I found that I had been displaced from my room with zero notification. All of my belongings had been thrown into trash bags and put in a different room. The staff could not tell me where my passport or phone was located. When I confronted the manager and asked for a discount due to this disrespectful act, he blew me off as if I were crazy for needing to be compensated. This place is nothing special, don't stay.
