Loved it very much!  Thank you.  Rudy can take care of anything you need!   Carla, Yami, and Catherin were so amazingly sweet and informative!!    If you’re in to pickle ball and tennis this place is for you.  If you’re not this place is still for you!

Great place to stay!

Excellent boutique hotel/B&B just blocks from the beach and local restaurants. Quiet and comfortable rooms that look out onto the pool and tennis courts. Staff lives on premises and is very helpful and friendly. Love the sweet dog and cat that live there too. Howler monkeys are often nearby to give serenades. 

Hidden gem

We stayed for a week here. It was very clean and the hosts were helpful and friendly. We felt at home, safe and comfortable. We did not rent a car. Everything we needed was in walking distance. We did pay for drivers a few times to take us on excursions. The breakfast every morning was so delicious. Best smoothies, fresh coffee and fruit. The monkey's would swing around us while we ate. It was beautiful. No complaints! 

Clean, friendly, yummy breakfast. 

We stayed in their 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit right above the bar area.  The area right above the bar is a large patio with comfy bean bag chairs and a dining table with chairs.  From the patio, we had access to the roof where we could see the beach.  Inside the unit, the kitchen and living room are in the middle and the rooms are on either end.  The smaller room had 2 single beds and the common bathroom is right on that side too.  On the other end is a spacious bedroom with a queen or king and very nice sized en suite bathroom.

There was a lock at the top of the stairs to get onto our patio, as well on the sliding glass doors (it was a bit tricky to get the slider to lock) so we had plenty of privacy and security.

The bar area is small and intimate - it's where you check in, get your complementary drink, and where they serve breakfast.  It's the same area where the nice little pool is and it stays shady and cool.  There are also tennis courts.  Front gate locks so it feels secure.

It's about a 2 block, 5 minute walk to the beach and is on the opposite side of the main town area.  Their neighbors are high end condos and other private residences so it's nice and quiet.

We stayed only for 1 night because we arrived one day earlier than our condo rental was available.  If we didn't have another place to stay, this would be nice for a longer stay.

Private, quiet, and close to beach

This place was our paradise in the heat the best spot to look around Tamarindo away from the heat, The only thing that's missing is a fridge in your room.
The breakfast smoothie and omelettes are simply the best xx

Paradise 

I found the rooms to be fairly tired, with damp and a bit of flaking paint throughout. The pool was really dirty, wit the entire floor covered in twigs, grass, leaves etc. It didn't look too recently cleaned. The pictures don't also show that the hotel is attached to a tennis club, and tennis players walk through the hotel to play. Not bad, but would rather have spent slightly more and got better.
