Great location (5 mins to the old town) and lovely apartment. Very spacey (we had the large apartment with living room) and had everything we needed as well as the very nice terrace overlooking the city, which is why we decided to stay here instead of directly in the old town and we did not regret out decision. Worth noting though that the terrace next door is adjoined, so privacy can be limited. Also the windows in the living room look onto the neighbours terrace, which means we kept those curtains mainly closed. Despite that would definitely stay here again, Gloria was great too. The steps are a little bit of a mission coming back but not nearly as bad as I'd feared!

Lovely stay

Rose apartments are in the perfect location,yes they are up a few steps but to wake up to that view I would of walked many more! 

The apartments have everything you need,big enough for a couple an there was a little kitchen to make breakfast in the morning and then sit on your own terrace to watch the sunrise. 

The owners are so friendly too and told us a few nice places to eat etc. 

Will be back next year!! 

Beautiful apartments 

· Gloria was friendly and told us about good restaurants and laundromat. So was her house lady. We got an early check-in to the room too. The room was of good size and open to a terrace with chairs and tables where we had breakfast while enjoying the view over the old town. Things were clean. Powerful airconditioning which was a blessing in the heat. There was a shared kitchen and when we needed a frying pan and oil that that weren't there, they were provided right away. They kept our bags after checking out which was a plus. There were 70 steps of stairs to the road and a further 100 to the walls. That's what it takes for the view one gets at the house and perfectly manageable and good exercise especially after a fulfilling dinner in town. 

 · The hot water didn't last long for the shower although it was enough for a quick one.

Place to stay for a great view of the old town

We stayed two nights at this wonderful place. When we arrived we were very tired and it was so hot that we were sweating quite a lot. So when we arrived here the owner offered us something to drink at first, she offered us some refreshments and she was so welcoming and kind. She immediately showed us a map of Dubrovnik and gave us some advice on where we could find the best place to have dinner. 
Then she told us if we ever needed anything we could just ring the doorbell and then she or her sons could help us out. 
So she was very welcoming and helpful but also remained at a distance the rest of our stay and we only saw her a couple of times. So you don’t have to worry about your privacy. 
We had a great room and bathroom. Everything was so clean, I would say it was even better than most hotels. You also get your own balcony where you can sit down and relax. The views of Dubrovnik you get at this place are absolutely stunning. The city itself is so close that it is a 5 minute walk, just one walk down the stairs and you are standing at the gates of the old city wall. 

I don’t know what else I can say...
I would definitely recommend to stay here during your visit to Dubrovnik.

We were welcomed by our very friendly and helpful host and shown around the very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. The balcony has great views and the terrace is a perfect place for an aperitif or a quiet sit at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The apartment is well located above the Ploce Gate but remember you must get some height to get the views 😀

You can’t go wrong 

A really lovely apartment with everything you need. Very clean and well kept. Excellent air con too. The balcony is lovely to sit out and have breakfast with amazing views over the old town. Really welcoming and friendly hosts. There are a few stairs to climb but not too many and worth it for the fantastic view! 

Amazing view

We traveled to Dubrovnik as a couple and stayed for 3 nights. The excellent location, walking distance (with luggage) from the Pile gate bus station where the airport atlas shuttle drops, feels even more convenient when you see you are right next to the Cable Car starting point, and have gorgeous views of the old town and Lokrum. Of course there are stairs to the apartment but these are comfortable stairs, not too steep. There is everything you need in the apartment and is clean and comfortable stay. Milan was very helpful with suggestions, all of them turned out very useful for us. Definitely recommend staying here.

Gorgeous view, excellent location and friendly owner

Gloria and Milan were friendly, accommodating - went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We had self-contained 1 bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchen and bathroom. This was a 5 minute walk to the old city and had amazing views from the extensive balcony over the Old City and Lokram Island. They took us on a great trip around the locale and this was both enjoyable and informative. Pick up and drop off at the airport made things so convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation especially because of Gloria and Milan.

Great Hosts and Accommodation

The location is good with nice views over Dubrovnik and is close to the Ploce Gate, cable car and airport bus stop. Unfortunately the location is up a lot of steep steps (70) which was difficult to negotiate with heavy cases. Room was clean although a little cramped. Shower small. Kitchen shared with another apartment but not fully operational. The oven did not work and there was limited crockery. A toaster would have been useful. Overall this is OK for a one night stay if you have a small amount of luggage but not for three days as we had.

Good location but a bit disappointing

This accommodation was very disappointing. The pictures on their website show the property as much nicer than it is. The views you expect are now covered by overgrown trees. The shower is really awful. Room very tiny. Be aware that there are many many steps to carry your bags up. You also can only pay by cash in Kuna. Very overpriced for what you get.
