Myself and husband stayed here for only one night whilst travelling around Europe. The owner was super lovely and friendly and the room was spotless clean. The view from the balcony over the port is incredible! The location is a bit out of town however it's very easy to get the local bus in and out of the old town. The lead up to the rooms is very steep (which we were warned about by email before our arrival) but you can organise a pick up if you don't want to arrive sweaty and out of breathe! Good price and a nice stay.

Lovely room in a lovely town

This kind of rooms is made for fit people who won't mind to do some exercise in exchange for bigger prices. It's well located and has a nice view, but don't fool yourself it's still a 20min walk down to the port and 30min by bus in the upward direction. You have to descend some very steep steps in order to enter the rooms.
The rooms were very clean, the owner was amazing and helped us a lot making some decisions.

Nice view, spotless clean but terrible access

Not spetacular, not bad either! It S far from the centre, you can go down 200 stairs or more to have lunch/dinner at the port, but to go to old town you take at least 20 by bus Number 3! The view is very good indeed! The old town is a little bit far. It was good, not great! 

Good enough 

Armed with the emailed directions from the owners we parked the car on a hotel driveway and walked to look for the accommodation. Finding the exact house took us a good 30 minutes while we kept bumping into tourists who are also looking for their accommodation among many accommodations lining the sides of the highway. Hotel signage was not prominent. Free car park next to apartment. Clean room smaller than the average room with a large bathroom and a balcony. Apartment high on the hill with a panoramic view overlooking the city harbor. Bus 3 or 3a stand walk 10mins or 2 minutes depends on which bus one takes. 15 - 20 minutes bus ride to the old city. On day of departure host stopped the traffic on the highway so we can reverse our car safely. I will stay in this apartment again just for the view.

That what made me book a room in this property was on the one hand the view and on the other the proximity of port, bus station and city center. I didn't realize however that things looking close on the map can be far in reality due to big height differences in Croatia. This property for sure has a great view, nice rooms with comfortable bed and a very friendly owner but to get there you have to either climb a mountain (don't do that, I've tried this once) or get there by bus and then walk along a busy national road with no pavement which is very dangerous especially at night and in bad weather. The price was ok and that's a big advantage in a very expensive city. To be honest we've had a wonderful time in Dubrovnik but mostly due to the unique beauty of the old town and not so much beacuse of the accomodation.

Great view with terrible access

The place has a very bad position as you're basically on the road where you can't walk as it's like a highway. The lady seemed very nice at the beginning while we were chatting through whastaapp before our departure once we got to the place she turned into a very Not polite person and she Demanded the payment of the apartment CASH! The toilet it's freaking small couldn't even fit myself properly. There is no space for home cooking, the cleaning is not included barely you can have towels and toilet paper but you need to ask. Please choose a different location
