great people, family run, excellent in house restaurant means you won't have to drive home after a few drinks, parking on-site. Multi lingual hosts that made guests from at least 5 different countries ( English, German, italian, hungarian Croatian) comfortable. Good sized rooms with great views and the other attractions all close at hand. Good location for base for an extended stay, if you are driving.

Garfield great place a to stay in Novi Vinodolski

Some years ago we have been looking for dog friendly accommoddation in Novi Vinodolski and we have found great appartmani with lovely owners and kind stuff, clean basic room with terasse, nice restaurant - yummy meals, no far from the sea. From that time we use to spend our summer holiday each year only here - at Garfild pension ! There are beautiful natural, but tidy, a bit adapting and empty beaches around. The pension is not luxury, no air conditioning rooms, but ok. We recommend Garfild in Povile - Novi Vinodolski.

Holiday in great Garfild, Novi Vinodolski

We were staying here for 7 nights and it was very nice. The room was very clean, breakfast was more than enough, including cafee and a glass of juice. Also at the restaurant you can eat a lot at decent prices (we tried almost everything from the menu and the food was a lot and delicious). There are several free relaxing beaches that we enjoyed every day (more nice than the one from Novi Vinodolski).  The owners are very welcoming and careful with the needs of every guest. Often when we ate dinner at the restaurant, we received something from the house. We thank all the staff and the owners for making our holiday very nice. We hope that we will return.

Excellent

1. Location. Very easy to find, beautiful view from the rooms, near several natural (and free) clean beaches (100-300m, 2-5 minutes walk) 
2. free parking, which is a very big plus in Croatian shore towns, given the limited spaces 
3. owners: friendly, very welcoming, very accomodating, going beyond simple hospitality for their guests to feel great on their holidays 
4. food: breakfast a la carte and was no request too much for them. Lunch and dinner from the menu also very tasty and affordable 
5. Rex the dog. Adorable, really.

I have stayed in this place with my boyfriend.
We loved the staff who was very polite.
The room was do pretty, and cleand and also very big bathroom and balcony.
In the morning we had a magnificent breakfast 
I just don't like the coffee there, in this but the rest was perfect and thank you 
We also love Novi Vinodolski, beach and the food.
Happy for being there.
