We stayed in one of the studio apartments within the walls of Diocletian Palace and it was excellent.  The assistance from Jelena on arrival and advance information was excellent including a run down on the apartment facilities and tips for coffee, meals and activities.  The room had everything we needed, stocked with basic provisions and all the kitchen ware needed for our simple needs. Highly recommended.  

Ancient city apartment 

I came here with my two pals for a long weekend, and I’m blown away! Let’s talk about the apartment first...it is beautiful, and right on the doorstep for the centre of Spilt. However, because it’s up a small lane, you get none of the noise associated with a City centre. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, with good aircon, microwave, fridge, TV and free (good!) WiFi. The bathroom is clean and modern, with a good shower. The owners can’t do enough for you - whether it’s an airport pickup or extended checkout time, they do all they can to make your stay a great one. There’s LOADS to do in Split - and it’s a terrific base for a long weekend. We’ll be back, definitely!

Can’t fault this place!

I loved staying in one of the Diocletian Apartments. We stayed in a ground floor apartment right around the corner from the office. It was beautiful and large and comfortable, and I liked that it was in a quiet, dead-end alley, because a lot of Diocletian's Palace is very busy and some apartments I saw were above noisy bars or areas with lots of tourists wandering around. We had peace but were still less than 5 minutes away from the Peristyle and also the entrance to the Riva. Super convenient, stores, restaurants, boat tours, all very close by. And a washing machine!
We also had amazing service. We arranged to meet and pick up the keys at the office and received lots of friendly help. We left something behind at the end, and it was mailed back to us right away, which we really appreciated. 
This place was great value for money and I loved staying here, wandering around all the interesting things in the old town, and then being able to pop back in for a rest. 
It was just a little dark because it is on the ground floor.

Fantastic place to stay

Beautiful, spotless apartment in a central and historic location with everything we needed. The helpful owner greeted us with a smile and helped us arrange Airport Transfers. We stayed in the ground floor studio 'wine' apartment. Yes the access is tricky (car free area with steps) but I have to question whether previous reviewers complaining of the busy streets, lack of windows and 'claustrophobic' location were aware they were staying in the town's epicenter, within the original walls of a 4th Century palace?!! I'd definitely return.

Highly Recommended - Step into History!

We visited in September 2016. I must say that the workers at the apartment were nothing but friendly.  They went out of their way to meet us at the walls of the palace and helped with our bags (as did the many tourists from the cruise ships). I was travelling with an old friend and a 70 year old. I shared the studio with my friend and the 70 year old had her own room and loved it. The apartment is very clean and roomy and very quiet considering it is in the walls of the palace.

My only issue is that being Europe there are stairs everywhere. We found an easier way with our bags to get out of the apartment as opposed to the way we were instructed to get in.

One suggestion- bring ear plugs as you hear all the movement of the apartment above.  But that is my only issue. 

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if ever I am in Split.

Europe 2016

I had booked a studio apartment over 6 months ago. I explained we would either need an apartment with a mmm elevator\lift or on the ground or first flood. I was told no problem we will put toy on ground floor. No mention was made that this would cost more. We paid for a transfer from airport and we were filled in about how things worked and that we had a ground floor flat. When we went to pay and the amount was not what I thought it shoyld be then I was told the apt we were in was 8 meters larger and thus it cost an extra 10 euro a day. I was told i did not have to pay it but it was implied. I just thing we should have been informed of the price difference way back at the beginning.
Great location, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, and a\c. All in all a good place


Great location and very clean

Very good location but the room facility is lacking in my opinion. WiFi signal is very weak and we have gotten much better signal on an island / middle of the ocean! They also charge you extra €40 if you check in late - by late I mean like 10pm (which wasn’t in the advertisement). With the price we are already paying it’s very outrageous!
