We were in this hotel restaurant. I am very thankful them that they made us food before closing. A lot of restaurants didn't worked in the evening and they were only one who let us in. We ordered grilled vegetables and they were very tasty. The staff also were very friendly. Thank you.

Gateway to Bohemia Switzerland.  Ample free parking in a town that parking lots are premium real estate. Has elevator.  Located in quiet part of town.  We walked from hotel to natural stone bridge (Pravčická brána) and back.  Hotel is also near the trail head of the gorge trail/trek/punt along Kaminice river.  
Hotel room: Shower head has no holder on the wall.  Shower by standing inside tub.  No shower curtain. Wet toilet after shower. No air con and no fan in room.
Breakfast is adequate, but start at 8am, ends at 9.30am.  We feel the start time is late, esp in summer when there is so much to do outdoors and the sun rises so early.

Convenient place to stay, park, visit stone bridge and do gorge hike

service was good, room clean, the location excellent, I just don't think it's a 4 star, due to that i was a little disapointed, but then it's the best hotel in Hrensko!  food was also good. close to starting point for all hikes.

2017 holiday

First of all - it's a nice hotel in a nice location and we enjoyed our stay. But there were few disturbing things that I wouldn't expect in 4 stars hotel: no wifi in rooms, malfunctioning credit card payments, very small TV and quite unfriendly staff at reception. 

Nice place but I'd expect more from 4 stars 

I was able to get a great room without a reservation because Hotel Hawel was mysteriously closed. This is a decent spot while you're hiking in the National Parks. Close to Pravcicka Brana and a 45 minute walk to Schmilke, on the German side of the park. The breakfast is free and the restaurant is open later than most others in the area. The rooms are large and comfortable. I wouldn't say this a 4 star hotel but it seems like the best option for the area.

Good location and nice breakfast!

The Hotel Praha was nearly the end station of our hike through the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland. First of all: If you are price oriented, thats it. For someone who knows the prices in Germany or other European Countries it is some kind of paradise when you cross the border to the Czech Republic. The best beers in the world cost just half the price, the room was cheap even when average and not 4 stars. Food is inexpensive. But....
We never had more unfriendly staff than there. There is no "How are you", no smile, just business as usual. Before reaching this station on our hike we had the feeling to be welcome guests. It took 10 minutes in this hotel to feel like "unwelcome". Anyhow: Food, drink and room was good.

Good starting point for hiking in the Bohemian Switzerland, cheap but no 4 star hotel

Today I tried something, I have never tried before. I was thrown out of a hotel. 
I Arrived at Hotel Praha this evening with My girlfriend. The guy in The reception was unfriendly and rude from the First second. The tension in the check in escelated, until I told him I thought he was rude and treating his guests  like s… He responded by Saing, that he Would cancel our prepaid booking. We had to leave and have fortunatetly found a much better place.
So stay away from Hotel Praha, if You want a decent treatment and be sure that You actually get your prepaid room.

Worst service ever

Today I experience The worst service ever at Hotel Praha. The guy in The reception was extreemely rude and unfriendly. I Think The staff at The hotel should look each other in The eyes and have a talk about, What good service is about.
