Lovely old hotel that has been sensively renovated. 
The rooms have that old charm with modern touches.
The restaurant is full of that scandinavian style you may expect.
Breakfast will either be a buffet or when needed a buffet served at the table. 10/10 for the food.
Staff, you have a mix of Danish and foreign staff, all are super friendly, and going the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. 
10/10 on the whole experience.


Your comfort is key

This newly renovated luxury boutique hotel is perfectly situated a stone throw away from the sea. The hotel has been elegantly decorated with a clear foundation in the Nordic design tradition offering a nice combination of wood, brass, concrete, local granite and bright colours. Simplicity rules which facilitates an overall relaxing atmosphere. 

The service level is high and all questions are answered with a smile and can-do attitude. 

The restaurant chef masters the difficult balance between the traditional and modern kitchen offering in particular a broad variety fresh seafood served with locally grown vegetables. The breakfast buffet has something for every taste and is nicely arranged in a way that feels like home.

We have already booked our next stay and are looking forward to returning to this fantastic hotel. 

A magical and cosy place in the heart of Allinge.

Groenbech's Hotel is a family run hotel with an obvious appreciation for Fawlty Towers - a photo of Basil and Manuel sits in one of the stylish modern cabinets in the entrance area and if you didn't see that you will notice the reference to the series in the WiFi code. While the manager is probably often running around like Basil Fawlty, and there is a bell on the front desk with exactly the same pitch as Fawlty Towers, our stay here was a quiet, calm and totally enjoyable.  
It is a stylish place, in a very Danish way. Turquoise velvet seats greet you in the bar area, alongside "architectural" plants on the window sills, antique/retro pots are used to serve complimentary tea and coffee, and the furniture in the bedrooms is minimalist but stylish. There are no TVs but the WiFi is good enough to stream. The bathroom had quality toiletries in dispensers. Breakfast was an ample buffet with local specialties and home baked bread and pressed apple juice. 
We did have one issue - our shower didn't work properly. We reported it. To be honest, I was expecting to have to change room or suffer for a second night but when we came back at the end of the day the shower had a new set of taps. I think that is the first time in my entire life of travelling that an issue like that has been completely fixed promptly and without further ado. 
Location: the hotel is up a side street from the harbour - a stone's throw from the water, almost without need of a catapult.  And we had a room with a view :)

A smallish “countryside-boutique” style hotel with a unique atmosphere, very friendly staff, very good food. You get what all travellers are looking for: you feel genuinely welcome and pampered, in a very relaxed style. We are coming back next summer.

Highly recommendable

I stayed on the hotel over  a long weekend. The hotel is clean,newly refurbished and is right in the center of town, by the harbor. The room was very nice and the beds are good. What pleasantly surprised me was the hotel restaurant Vilhelm. I  had a great lunch, the salmon was superb and the night after, I had the cod for dinner. This was the far best food I had during my stay in Bornholm. I must say they are really experts in fish in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place if you want excellent food on a competitive price. You should also try the bar for cocktails

Great stay and excellent food

The situation was very good and parking not too far away. The common areas were fresh and tastefully decorated. The breakfast perfectly ok. Our room was small but fresh and clean. However - the bath room interior and toilet were ancient and very impractical. Shower in front of the sink, and nowhere to hang the towels to dry, which was a problem since they were not changed every day - normally perfectly ok, but not when they remain wet. Everything was spotlessly clean.
