We stayed at the most expensive cabin, with its own bathroom. The cabin had lots of mold in the ceiling, both green, white and black mold. I mean LOTS of mold. It smelled bad, in hindsight there's no wonder the window was wide open when we arrived. We contacted the landlord about this issue, and he was very unapologetic, he obviously knew that the cabin had a mould problem because of a leaky roof, but thought that this was something we had to expect at a camping side. Unbelievable - the cabin is not even cheap! He eventually came to clean the mould away.  He did not offer any sort of compensation save downgrading us to a worse cabin without its own bathroom. Unfortunately this was not an option, as we need our own bathroom. It was a terrible stay, we all started to feel cold-like symptoms I attribute to the mould. We are considering reporting this place to the autorities as this is NOT GOOD!

Avoid at all cost - mouldy cabin!

Stayed for three nights during our Legoland and Givskud Zoo visit. Owner was kind and place is nice. Lot of activities for kids - two playgrounds and mini-golf area. Cabin has enough place for 8 people. On top of the extra bed we used also our own mattress for better sleep. Kitchen was with all needed equipment. WC and shower inside cabin. Owner has plan to renovate the place till next season. Inside of cabin was warm, maybe even too warm. But the problem was solved by keeping windows open during night.

Great place to stay near Legoland in cabin

This was a horrible camping experience. We took a tent spot (which was expensive compared to the quality of the place) and spent two nights there. They have a serious ant problem and the place was full with other bugs (not to mention about those giant spiders on the toilet area...). Showers didn't include to the price. Everything was messy and gross. You can't even pay with credit card there! I highly recommend you to go somewhere else, do not choose this place.

Nightmare

No big issues but I was expecting bit more from the best cabin type as the price seemed still relatively high even though options close to Legoland are very limited. The upstairs felt unsafe with kids because of open stairs to downstairs, very limited number of glasses, no equipment to do dishes and quite old feeling cottage. The camping area as such was quite cosy and kids loved the playground. Location was close enough to legoland and givskud zoo.

Even the best cabin type felt unfinished

We are a family travelling with children aged five and seven. On short notice, we decided to go to LEGOLAND for a weekend. It is pre-season, so we thought we still could find a place to stay, hopefully rather inexpensive. Not so easy though, we found a small cabin for four persons on Hotels.com. We booked it, and afterwards saw the reviews here telling about a rather poor place. Since it was not refundable, we went there to check it out. We were quite surprised, because the owner had upgraded us free to a bigger cabin for six persons. It was still rather cramped, but quite fresh and had all amenities we needed. No smells, no fungus, no noisy fridges. No luxury beds but we slept well. The bathroom was in a separate building, and it was clean. Annoying though with coin slots in the shower. We did not pay much compared to other options nearby. We had 15 km to LEGOLAND, so we were quite happy with this. Mark that you must bring linen and stuff to do the dishes. A small kitchen was quite well equipped.
