First of all, the most remarkable point here is the kindness of its owners, they are always asking if you need something and how is going on. The hotel it is not big, it gives you the sensation of a summer home, so it means it's cozy. They offer three different programs, two of them include food: breakfast and Breakfast+Lunch or Breakfast+Dinner. Food it is not 5 stars but it is good for the price. Commonly you will find two options and the menu with additional plates. By the way Fish with garlic sauce was supreme! (Cuisine in Cojimies does not bright as the Manabita favorite one) If you want pasta forget it, it was impossible to find any nor the hotel or the town. 
Regarding the rooms, the are luminous with air conditioning in every room. We got a cottage with 4 double beds. The bad experience at least for me was the mattress, I ended with a back pain due excessive softness and pillows did not helped me either. On the other hand, everything is very clean, the maid changed towels every one other day. The WiFi is not high speed but works fine. TV offers mostly national tv stations, but who cares, this beach has been made to enjoy a profound relaxing time. 

The beach was not clean due a recent Sea flood. there's more than half a mile from the hotel to the Town. Actually it's a good choice to expend one day at the town's front beach and pay a visit to the Island of El Amor. 

This trip was quite different to other beach getaways, it is a mix of eco and urban place. The hotel made the difference.

The kind of oasis in the eco-beach of Cojimies

Stayed here w/ my husband and mother in law and it was perfect.  At first glance it seems kind of bare bones, but really it has everything you need.  Clean rooms w/ air conditioning, a wall safe, wifi, and comfy beds, a great shower w/ hot water, and the LOCATION is  RIGHT on the beach.  It's located south of Cojimies, so it's quiet but still in walking distance if you want to go check out the town.  The beach is HUGE at low tide and clean.  They have hammocks, cold beer, volleyball net, restaurant, a small swimming pool and good service.  The price, at $20 per person plus tax, can't be beat for all that they offer.  We'll definitely go back.  A great find after checking out lots of hotels between Pedernales and Cojimies.

Great value for a beach front hotel

This was a disappointing hotel. Very affordable and we'll located, it's a short walk to the town of Cojimies. But the hotel itself feels runs down.  Fumigation spray left room smelling strongly of chemicals. Pool was refreshing but also had hundreds of mosquito's on the stairs, under water. Kind of gross. Breakfast was mediocre at best.  Day trip to Isla del Amor was spectacular. Arranged it on the spot on the beach in Cojimies.

Affordable but unattractive

Few weeks ago we got into this great hotel at Cojimies, Ecuador. The owners are terrific and very helpfull couple, Robby is a naturalist that is a plus at the hotel he knows all the best places to look for birds and fishing in the area, also hotel restaurant has a great food..
