The owner of this place, Anne was really helpful - we came earlier than expected and left our luggage at the reception before leaving to explore the area.

When we came back, we were pleasantly surprised to find our baggage in our room.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was two single beds pushed together. The bathroom was state of the art - double sinks, spick and span, and massage jets in the shower. Wifi was stable and fast. 

Breakfast was lovely. Anne was warm and efficient and prepared a wide array of jams, including the region's special, and my personal favorite, mirabelle jam. Fresh croissants and bread was available, coffee, tea and juice. Anne even fried up some eggs for my friend and I. The was even panna cotta with mirabelle compote for dessert, and these were served in individual little glasses. 

Note: Anne doesn't speak much English, but I speak basic French, and the combination of both was enough for communication. Aside from that, Anne was a lovely host - warm, friendly and sincere.

Wonderful stay!

I stayed here a year ago with my husband and was very happy with our stay. Thus, I decided to make a detour and return for a night but this time with a friend. 

The house and room is kept amazingly clean. Decor is beautiful and the owners take pride in their business. Even though we do not speak French and they speak only a little English, they were very eager to accommodate. Breakfast was amazing! Owner Anne made all the jams and even offered us fresh homemade panna cotta with plum sauce - yummy! We asked for fried eggs and she went into the kitchen and reappeared 5 minutes later with our request. 

We couldn't have asked for a better experience and if anyone is passing by the area, do consider spending a night here. 

Excellent Stay!!

We drove 30 miles off our route to spend the night in this chateau and I am very happy to have done the extra miles. This manor house is located in a little village off the normal route but the scenery around is very pleasant. The house itself has been restored by the current owner at very high standard looking into little details making the whole stay fantastic. As soon as you get inside there is a pleasent smell, everything is very clean and polish. We took the suite with a very modern bathroom with double hot tub and massage shower. The morning breakfast was superb with fresh home made food, jams..... 
The owners themselves are warm and welcoming.  
The only downside is that we spend only one night as we were travelling. If you can spend more days

Not to be missed

The couple who own this jewel of a bed and breakfast establishment, in a pretty little village, are very courteous and proud of the local produce they use to make delicious dinners and fresh jams for breakfast. (There is not a restaurant so you must make a special booking for dinner). The hotel is so clean - you could eat your dinner from the floors!    A beautifully appointed bathroom, and tastefully decorated room complete the picture. It was a lovely place to stay and ideal for an overnight stop as we went from Calais to Heidelberg.
