We throughly enjoyed our 5 nights at B’O cottage! We arrived 24 hours late due to bad weather affecting our ferry crossing - no problem at all. 
We had booked a studio room, and had been allocated one on the ground floor. My OH doesn’t like ground floor rooms so I asked if they had any others (at least two of the reception staff speak very good English) and the lady was really helpful and offered me to look at a room on the 1st floor, which we did and took. 
The room was spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. 
Weather was freezing, but room was super cozy. 
- really comfortable bed 
- great kitchen with kettle, 2 ring hob, micro, toaster, fridge and small freezer 
- spacious bathroom 

WiFi signal is poor and no English channels on the TV (no big deal to us, but just noting for others!) 

We used the swimming pool a lot - which again very clean and warm! Our son loved the kids pool which is separate and kept him entertained for ages! 

We didn’t eat in the restaurant for dinner but I think two courses was €22. There was a choice of two starters and three mains each eve from what I saw. It looked popular. 
We had breakfast there on our last day - €13pp. Typical French affair, and very busy when we were there! You can also order your bakery goods the eve before to pick up at reception. 

Lovely walk into town, which is pretty and some nice restaurants. Very small and quiet, but perfect for a stroll around. (Please note the walk is down quite a hill so anyone with mobility issues would struggle). 

Lots nearby to see and do! 
Our son loved the legend of roc du chien! 

Would really recommend this hotel for a relaxing family break. 

Great Value! 

Good location and in a lovely town. Tip bring your own teatowels,tea, coffee , detergent etc and cleaning agents. You are expected to clean your own kitchen before you leave or will be charged 35 euros for cleaning. No cleaning supplies with the kitchen. Bathroom supplied with hand towels, bath towels and mat but no hand soap but there was a lovely shampoo/body wash in shower unit.

One bedroom apartment with nice view

This is a lovely, imposing hotel situated outside of Bagnoles de L'orne and part of a complex. It is at the top of a (very!) steep hill, away from the spa and casino.

Our room was one of the Douglas suites so had a separate bedroom and lounge / diner / kitchen. 

It is very modern so everything is in good nick. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and provided for so you genuinely can cook your own meal (and we did, there is a Casino supermarket a 15-20 minute walk away, again, up the hill... so drive there if you go!)

On site, there is loads to entertain the family. There is a teenager's breakout room which looked good and you can hire bikes. The real hook however is the spa style swimming pool packed with thalasso jets and even better, an entirely separate kids pool with 2 slides, water jets, toys etc. If you have a little one, it's ideal, and you can wear you luxury robe down there.

Minor grumbles would be the following;

The kitchen requires cleaning by you before you go, it's not included in the price. That's fine but they provide you with literally no cleaning products so you have to buy a kit for €4. I just left Dec catering accommodation to stop here in the way home so could easily have brought; I feel they could make this clearer.

The breakfast is so-so. Not bad but basic in terms of what they provide and good god the scrambled eggs were terrible!

Grumbles aside, this is a great, good value place to stay and perfect if you have smaller children needing some r&r from a trek across France.

Great , big, modern aparthotel

What a strange place , first reception experience ok but awful after that , first room we were given had broken furniture and missing cupboard door after complaining we were eventually moved to another but only after being told by receptionist not to fuss , second room better but chair still split. Very aggressive instructions in room about cleaning the kitchen yourself. This claims to be a 4 star hotel ! Well not like any 4 star I have ever visited, old tired furniture and fittings, no access to any of the spa facilities. Only saving grace is the pool on site. I have never been threatened with a fine if I don’t empty the bin! 

We won’t be back , you really need to do better

Not great

The room was basic with a kitchenette, bathroom with toilet shower and sink and a bedroom with wardrobe Tv and small table and chairs. 

We were visiting g family so we spent most of the time away from the hotel so can’t comment on the facilities.

I found sleep a problem as the bed was rock hard and there is no air con in the room. We had to have the window open but there were no fly screens so ended up with bugs. The bed has one pillow per sleeper with no extra pillows. You shouldn’t need to ask for extra pillows. Air con is expected as standard at a Four star resort. 

The breakfast consists of a continental breakfast - hot options are limited - the bread with meats and cheeses is lovely and having French butter is a lovely treat. The coffee is also lovely. 

The hotel fails to address the details which you would expect from a 4 star resort, which is a shame.

For the purposes of visiting family, it was a convenient location, but there are other options for our next visit, so we probably won’t stay here again.

Beds are rock hard and there is no air con!

A strange sort of place. It is a bit difficult to locate as there is more than one B'O property. Reception is in the middle of the building with little signposting. Welcome was perfunctory. Check in required a credit card for a deposit of €250, returnable but poorly explained. You are required to clean your own kitchen and I brought mini supplies to do this. All (I think) was explained in rapid French. Mostly French cars in the car park, so I doubt if English is spoken. There was a lovely fresh smell in the corridor as it was being cleaned when we arrived. However the apartment was not spotlessly clean and as a result it would be very cheeky to be charged for a kitchen which was not properly cleaned. The floor was cleaned in the middle, not the edges. 
The walk to town was fine, down through the woods. Again, signposting would be helpful. It is an odd sort of town. Beautiful but geared towards an older age group. Very quiet at night. 

Peculiar but ok

Visited here with a few friends on way back from a trip to France. 

We booked a couple of apartments and the only thing I can comment about the place is that it is strange. 

When we first arrived ( not very well signposted ) we were told we had no reservation so we turned around. We went to a few other B’O properties who all said the same. We went back and the 2nd time were told we did have a reservation. That was the start of the strange events. 

There is no communal / lounge area. They won’t even serve you a drink unless you book dinner or breakfast. Not even a coffee in the morning!!!

The rooms were comfortable and the surroundings nice (some paint needed in places). Staff were nice also. 

It felt a little like a retreat for the elderly. The spa was nice but not a place to go as a couple or in a big group. 

The town itself is lovely but also very quiet and was mainly geared towards the older generation!

For the price it was good but wouldn’t go back with a group of friends. 

Very strange

Nightmare !!! We came from Paris for a relaxing weekend. We were told at the last minute that the staff was on strike. No information, no support and no proposal for compensation ... Very disappointing.
