We spend a week here in one of the prepped tents in the low season. There were little other campers there which definitely added to the quiet atmosphere. 

The hosts really make you feel at home, they are always available for questions and great tips for activities or restaurants the surrounding area. All facilities are clean and spotless. 

Highly recommended for couples (maybe with small children) to stay at Pré-Fixe :)

What a special place this is. Stunning location with lots of wildlife and fabulous big starry skies at night. Very friendly owners, immaculate facilities, lovely pool and bar area. What more could you possibly want in a campsite?

A little slice of heaven

Two week family holiday during the school holidays with two children aged six and eight.

We stayed in Chalet number 3, which was really nice and in a fantastic location.

The campsite overall is really nice, with lovely owners who can't do enough for you. Very child friendly - nice swimming pool, trampoline, tabletennis etc. The only thing that was lacking was a large open space for ball games/ frisbee etc. It's quite a steep campsite, so not particularly well suited to young kids bikes and definitely not scooters. The local area is very nice, amazing countryside, good for bike rides etc (bikes provided by the campsite if you want them) and the owners father does regularly guided rides for both children and adults, both on and off road!

Bread/ croissants booked daily on site (order the day before) and were lovely and you can also have either meals or takeaway at the main reception area (which doubles up as a meeting point/ restaurant).

We had a lovely stay and I'd highly recommend it.

My only observation is that the Pyrenees are at least an hours drive away and as the weather wasn't great while we were there, we headed in that direction at least four times, so I spent more time driving than I planned. That's a minor gripe - the site is fantastic and the owners lovely. Highly recommended.

Family holiday with two young children

Great welcome by owners, fantastic clean and well looked after facilities, awesome restaurant area (it feels like you are in a resort at the Pacific!), nice pool and great pitches. The location is great to relax, just in the country side. We actually had a very pleasant 4-hour walk enjoying rural areas (nothing impressive, just relaxing and beautiful). Owners are very friendly and helpful, everything you need, they will suggest a great solution! Thanks for everything, we really want to go back!

A+ to everything

This was a beautiful, quiet campsite with amazing staff and quiet sites. An amazing campsite for couples or families, they have a great range of products on offer and friendly staff. Their pain a raisan was delicious, which you can order every morning, along with your freshly baked baguette. I would highly recommend this campsite and I hope to be back!

One of the best campsites ever!

Arrived on Sunday and unable to pick up any supplies. Would have been useful if owners had pointed this out to us in advance as very small children in our party. Health and safety is huge issue. Dangerous snapped off bamboo which was like knives  coming out of ground. Someone had placed child’s plastic slide over them! The drop from our steps in the luxury lodge was deadly. Our 2 yr old grandson fell off and was lucky not to have broken anything. Pool very indifferent and quite murky. Wi-Fi not working. Fan didn’t work. Spa! Not sure what happened there. Ate in restaurant first night as no other option.young waitress very nice and helpful. Food not at all special and wine very pricey indeed. 
Toilet block nice and clean but a lot were closed including the infant and disabled one which was most annoying!  Nothing at all in closest village. Managed to find take away Pizza place about 20 minutes drive away but that was it close by. Sadly we read a lot of fabulous reviews on the website which we fell for. 
We have been to many beautiful campsites in France but this was not one of them. I realise we did go almost at the end of the season so owners were possibly getting a little tired but if this had been our main holiday I would have been hugely disappointed.
 Almost forgot! Refrigerator stopped working and was told it was because we had put food in it. They did however bring us a different one the next day.

Disappointed

4 stars? Like the petrol? It's a tip at top prices. Mossed over pitches. Flies. Where they get the back to nature idea from, who knows?
Virtually impossible to park motor on pitch and the Tesla driving Dutch bag the 5 offcamp spaces. 
Add on screaming French kids, hysterical Dutch teenage girls and up their bum Brits why stay here?
30 euro a night and a band with the worst Franglais renditions of Brit tracks.
Drive by, save a bomb and get a decent rest. 
Tomorrow my EU mates I've got my airhorn ready, stand by your pits for the shock of your holidays.
