My husband and I stayed at La Solette last weekend. The house is beautiful with key-pad secure entry and parking. Our room and the bathroom was very clean and lovely views overlooking the spacious garden. Superb breakfast with plenty of choice.

Beautiful property

Two of us stayed here for 5 nights touring the battlefields on our motorbikes, our hosts were lovely, very informative about the area, our room was spacious with a comfy bed , secure parking for us, the breakfast was lovely with fresh bread with homemade jams and we had an omelette also most mornings, the attention is detail at this  b and b is off the chart, very clean and immaculate everywhere, I would love to stay here again , thank you david and didier

Fab place to stay

What a find. Stayed two separate nights in the same week as part of an "out and back" holiday in northern France and Belgium. La Solette is located in a quiet village, just west of Arras, in its own beautiful grounds overlooking the rolling French countryside. The attention to detail inside the accommodation is second to none. As a family of three, we had the downstairs bedroom over looking the garden. Spotlessly clean with very good décor, very comfy rooms and hosts who were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful with a mix of home made and fresh produce. Advice and help provided if required, but David and Didier were not at all intrusive. Happy to talk and spend time with their guests, but likewise happy to allow you to use their home as your own. A great base for visiting northern France and Belgium. Only regret was leaving. Will return.

A hidden gem...

My husband and I stayed with 4 other family members for 2 nights. We had all 3 bedrooms and myself and husband where in the room in the main house and it was beautiful. There is also a self contained gite attached to the main house where there are further rooms were my other relatives stayed. Everything was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was superb. Breakfast was a continental breakfast with homemade jams and yoghurts with fresh breads, fruit juices and fresh fruit, The owners were very welcoming and took time to greet us on arrival and were more than willing to help with locations of military cemeteries as this was the reason we were in the area, to visit the Somme area and locate family members memorial. Would highly recommend La Solette,

Fantastic Stay

We stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights. The beds were really comfortable and the attention to detail in the rooms was superb. The breakfasts were to die for with a different regional speciality presented to us each morning. A beautiful house in its own rural grounds close to everything.
Jeannine and Jean-Marie were fantastic at making us so welcome - without smothering us.
This is a great place to stay if doing the battlefields and is in a most beautiful part of northern France.
We did not want to leave. A great place to stop.
