This was the second time we stayed at Lodges de Malbrough and we have just booked a third. The reviews and pictures are all true - this really is a perfect holiday stay and great for relaxation in what i feel is an undiscovered part of Northern France. 

There is so much to experience in the area we overlooked the larger towns the first time round but visited St Omer and others this time. 

Favourite Ypres is a short hop away in Belgium, Lille for City life, and the Opal Coast, Le Tougeut and Boulogne sur la mer with Nausicaa a must visit in the other direction.  We try and attend the L’andouille festival in Aire sur la lys each year. 

The accommodation is modern, comfy and spotless. It’s so well looked after and the wild grounds perfect for a little wander and holding fascination for young ones. Theme parks are not far away too. 

We have been so well looked after by both Stephanie and Marie with personal attention and care to make our stay so much more enjoyable we can’t wait to visit again. It really feels like ‘our’ place and to see the other reviews we are clearly not alone in falling in love with this destination. Merci, Mme Robin!

Perfect

wanted somewhere as a base for the football in Lens was great decision Stephanie helped us with taxis etc. . was great place to retreat to for relaxation with aire sur la lys just up the with the very accommodating Jok Aire bar in the square and lovely food at la Mardyk.
all in all a brilliant choice

Euros 2016

This is a fantastic venue. Very picturesque. When we visited all the daisies were in flower. Gites are perfect sizes. Kitchen is well appointed. Open plan dining, kitchen and bedroom area, with separate, large bathroom with extensive clothes rail to hang clothes. Each gite has its own small pond and small boat which the children loved to play in as my husband and I watched from the balcony of the gite. There was also a free portable barbecue which came with the gite. There is a also a hot tub on site and laundry and a great, wooden play area as well as a shed in which to store your own bikes, or you can hire from venue. Incidentally there is a great patisserie which is either a short bike ride away or shirt drive away for fresh bread and croissants etc. The area has a locked gate so it's very safe. We are planning to return we enjoyed it so much here. It was very relaxing and the host Marie Pierre Robin speaks very good English and is lovely.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay - great for children too

We stayed during a weekend booze cruise. 45 mins from eurotunnel. An area we had not explored before. Lovely quiet rural location. The quality of accom is great. Very comfy and good for families. 

The hot tub experience is a must! 

You could stay here a night or a week. You will be rested whichever you decide.

As previously mentioned, the website photos of Lodges de Malbrough look so incredibly enticing, that we really did suspect it was perhaps too good to be true.

But the photos are genuine!

We were completely blown away by the natural beauty of Lodges de Malbrough.  The lodge itself was elegant, spacious, airy, clean and bright.  The surrounding private gardens are a magical recipe of wild flowers, ponds and mowed grass.  

Our host, Marie-Pierre was welcoming and helpful.  She was keen to ensure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay.  She easily facilitated a private, peaceful environment, whilst also making herself accessible if needed.

We are delighted to have discovered Lodges de Malbrough and we only wish we had been able to stay for longer.  

A perfect piece of paradise... We can't recommend it highly enough, and we very much hope to return one day!!!
