We stayed at this charming countryside B&B for three nights, in the 'toile et lin' room, on the first floor of the guest building, facing the front of the building. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The B&B is located right off of a small country road, but we found that when we closed the window and curtain at night, it was quiet, and we could not hear any passing cars on the road, albeit, it is not a busy road. The breakfasts were delicious and included among other things, waffles one morning, and French toast (as we call it) another morning, in addition to an assortment of croissants and breads, coffee and juice. Sandrine and her husband were incredibly welcoming. Both were comfortable enough in English so that they could communicate with us, given our limited French, and Sandrine took the time to recommend places to eat and things to do and see. We loved their spacious and historic kitchen, where we had our breakfast. The B&B was full of charm in both the decorating and the hospitality. Many thanks to Sandrine and her family for welcoming us into your home. 

The B&B is located outside the small town of Evran in the Brittany countryside. It was about a 40 minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel; an hour drive to the old village of Fourges; and a short drive to the quaint medieval city of Dinan, where we had dinner one night – so a great location for seeing some of northern Brittany. We also loved Sandrine’s recommendation for oysters in Cancale.

A charming B&B in Brittany and lovely hospitality

Wow.... what a beautiful place with very welcoming hosts, we stayed at the Le Cordon Blanc for one evening and we were made to feel so welcome by Natalie.  The rooms were great and the breakfast was amazing.  Thank you for having us - The Tomlinsons

** Just beautiful **

Nathalie was an amazing host, very generous and just so hospitable. Our 3 night stay was pure pleasure. The room showed a lot of attention to detail and just the little things made you feel ‘at home’.
There are no words to describe the breakfast Nathalie prepared each morning. Fresh crepes, pain au chocolat, baguette, brioche, fresh orange juice, homemade Joghurts, jams etc. the coffee is strong and good.
All in all we would definitely return. A beautiful place to stay.
A hidden gem!

Exceptional Hospitality

We arrived in Evran having cycled from Rennes.  We were soaked and covered in grit from the canal path.
Nathalie greeted us and gave us a hose to wash down our bikes and panniers.  She then very kindly took our wet clothes and dried them overnight.
The room was beautiful.  Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. 
We went out to dinner with another couple who were staying which was lovely.
In the morning we had one of the best breakfasts that we'd ever had.  Everything was perfect - fresh fruit, French toasts to die for and crepes by the dozen!  Nathalie even packed us up a 'doggie bag' of breakfast goodies to take with us on our onward journey.

Beautiful chambre d'hote with wonderful hosts

We stayed three nights at le cordon blanc! Wow it was amazing . The hosts Lionel and Natalie made us feel so welcome...nothing was too much trouble ...even going to buy de- caffeine ated coffee just for my husband!
The rooms were outstanding .......decor true interior design at its best! 
It was spotlessly clean . The breakfast taken around a huge table in the most fantastic country kitchen was superb.......so much choice ...wonderful home made Fare ...
Delicious.
We would have loved to have stayed longer!

Exceptional !

We came a family of four people. Nathalie and Lionel are wonderful and warm hosts, the rooms are beautiful and very nice decorated. Great and fresh breakfast!!! Worth every euro. Recommended for anyone traveling in the area.
