More a maison d'hôte than a hotel. Old village house refurbished, full of charm, two double rooms, beautiful small swimming pool. Breakfast is served outside if weather permits. Good bread, delicious home-made jams and croissants or cakes. The host will counsel excellent restaurant and was very helpful for local activities (canoe on the Allier river).

We had a fantastic stay. Daniel made us very welcome was a good host and was a font of knowledge when it came to how to spend theday or sugsuggesting restaurants. Our room was lovely and pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Jane and Glen

We spent three nights here, and absolutely loved every minute of it. Daniel, the host, is friendly and very helpful at any time of the day. Sitting by the pool, pick nicks, BBQ, great food at local restaurants (which Daniel can help you choose and reserve a table). There are only two rooms which makes it a private and relaxed experience. Lovely interior decorated with antiques. Definitely recommended for couples! 

Charming place with excellent food in nearby restaurants

A fantastic place in terms of ambience, location, tranquillity and relaxation. A breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired, from the freshly squeezed orange juice over the carefully selected self-made jams, to the excellent tea, coffee and local cheeses. And finally, very good advice for local travelling, restaurants etc.

A unique ambience and a superb petit dejeuner

The accomodation is excellent, spacious and comfortable. A big plus is that both rooms are on the ground floor so no lugging cases up stairs. There's also a pool, a jacuzzi and a hamman. (Though we didn't use any of these). The host is very welcoming and gives you plenty of tips about the area. The wifi is very fast too.

Breakfast is lovely (with cheese if you want) and served either outside or in the quirky 60's themed room upstairs.

There's parking next to your room, though you should be aware that because of the way Saint Maurice is laid out, access to the B&B is rather narrow. However I had little trouble with a 4X4.
