After a long drive from Calais we received a very warm welcome from Isabelle who settled us in to one of her comfortable, well-appointed rooms. She recommended an excellent nearby restaurant, Les Tilleuls, and as it was raining she even offered to collect us afterwards in her car!
Breakfast was fresh and delicious and taken on the patio by the swimming pool.
All in all a delightful experience and thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful converted farmhouse with wonderful hospitality

It is very relaxing, in the country side, within walking distance of the beach on Lake Annecy. The room was impeccable with modern facilities, yet country side feel. Hostess is very friendly, but very limited English, knowing French certainly helped us communicate. Breakfast is decent, not overly generous or varied but everything is fresh - no complaints, would love to come back.

Awesome place, hughly recommended

My three children and I spent 4 nights at L'oree du Lac and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the adjoining family rooms, both beautifully furnished and comfortable. Isabelle looked after us very well, even setting up her grown up daughters pre loved toys for my girls to play with. One of my children was sick during the stay and Isabelle even offered to mind her for a few hours so I could do something with the other children. She took us all to fetch fresh milk from the dairy farm next door which we all loved. The views are spectacular from all the rooms and the cycle track to Annecy easily accessible. It's not easy to find a B & B where children are made to feel welcome but we have certainly found that at L'oree du lac. Thank you Isabelle and Marc for your generous and warm hospitality.

Fantastic Property with a generous welcoming host

Isabelle has a very comfortable and well supplied gîte. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom window looks out over the cows in the fields and the majestic alps as a backdrop. Isabelle was helpful and attentive to our needs and in providing us with information. One day she offered us a lift into Annecy for the afternoon which we appreciated. It was an ideal spot for us as cyclists, with a shed to secure our bikes. The bike path is close by and plenty of mountain passes to climb. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

A beautiful tranquil stay

I have recently spent a week at L'oree du lac with my family and parents and was positively impressed. The location is superb surrounded by fields however ideally located to visit all the major attractions of the region. Isabelle was wonderful and has made us feel welcome , she prepared a diverse and wonderful breakfast each day. We would definitely  recommend this accommodation for anyone which would like to enjoy the beauty of this region .
