We had a magical stay at this beautiful spot - stayed for one night as we drove from Epernay to the Loire Valley. Maria is a kind, generous and terrific host. Our room was just lovely and the chateau so wonderfully looked after (the gardens even on a very wet day are very special). So worth a relaxing visit and true French hospitality. Thank you so much!

The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The surrounding garden is beautiful. It is great value including continental breakfast. The host Maria is very friendly and most helpful. A definite recommendation to stay here when in the area. 

A wonderful stay 

At first we were not sure what to expect as from the street the building looks unimposing but once you enter the grounds Wow it was beautiful. 
The manor has lovely gardens with a cute canal bisecting them.
Our room, the yellow room on the ground floor overlooked the garden.
The room was large,clean with crisp sheets and comfortable bed.
The building dates back to the 11th century and was tastefully furnished with period furnishings
We enjoyed afternoon drinks at a local inn situated about 150m away but had trouble finding an evening meal in the village so the local pizza shop came to the rescue with a yummy take away which we enjoyed with a bottle of wine in the manor gardens as the sun set
We took a stroll in the morning to the local  crunch and it's anchent fortifications which were just as impressive as many other better known attractinons in Europe

Amazing find in the French countryside within 150k of Paris

This was our last place to stay during our trip to France. We arrived and found the chateau a beautiful house and had a lovely room that went straight out into the gardens. The bed was very comfortable and the shower very warm. We had driven a long way and would have liked to have a cup of coffee and was surprised that there are no facilities to make a drink in the rooms. This was a disappointment, but the only one. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of hot coffee!! A very reasonable price for a beautiful chateau. The Village is quiet but does have a couple of restaurants and a good takeaway pizza place. 

A lovely chateau 🏰

A hidden gem found it by chance, as said in previous reviews the front doesn't do it justice. The hotel is accessed via an unassuming gate on to a small cobbled parking area. The owner came out to give us a nice friendly welcome.

The building is fantastic with a real sense of history and class with some lovely decorative touches. Our room was the yellow suite, spotlessly clean, big comfy bed, private en-suite & French doors out on to the lovely garden.

Continental breakfast was at a relaxed slow pace, presented in the elegant dining room.

One very minor criticism is that we would have liked to have been offered a drink on arrival. We had travelled about 6 hours and it would have been a nice extra welcoming touch. No tea making facilities in the room either.

Overall a very lovely & well cared for home, with rooms at a very acceptable price.

Appears to be a choice of two restaurants in the town...we opted for the Pizzeria which was better than it first appeared. Worth using.
