We, two ladies, stayed on route across France.  We had a lovely welcome, very helpful information about car parking and where to eat.  It is very central to the centre with lots of restaurants and shops around.  I had a problem with amber indicators on my car and the owner was extremely helpful, locating a garage that would be open Sunday morning.  Breakfast is again simple, lots of croissants, pain a chocolate, different breads, yoghurts, apples, cereals, butter and jams.

If the owner is reading this please could you thank the two guys in the garage next to Total garage who were so helpful and sorted my car no time.  



Wonderful simple hotel, ash friendY owners

We stayed there for a night in a “superior double with bath”. While the staff was really nice, helpful and accommodating and the hotel ideally located in the city center, the hotel itself doesn’t deserves 2 stars and the 60€ price tag. The bed was not comfortable and small (120x190!!), there was no sound isolation. We could hear the water “running” from other rooms, people talking next room or the corridor, the street, etc. The bathroom was straight out of the 70’s. Internet was actually slower than our 4G and while we assumed parking was free as stated initially it cost us an additional 8€. If we come back we will definitely not come back and stay at a more luxurious hotel. 

Great staff and location... and that’s it 

This is a no frills hotel very centrally located in Vichy and perfectly adequate for a day or two to explore the town. The room we had was clean and bright with a very small but functional bathroom and comfortable bed.  It is somewhat old fashioned but we had a friendly reception and a decent continental breakfast all at an extremely reasonable price.

Perfectly adequate for a short stay

Although the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, we found the double room an adequate size but the bed was uncomfortably small.  The very small bathroom was airless with room for toiletries bag only over the toilet and no hairdryer. It was very hot with 30 degs temperatures. The wifi worked very well during the day but we could not connect at night. Parking was at a nearby garage for €8. It was ok for a one night stopover. Try for a larger room if staying longer.

Central location, reasonable price

What is great is the good location. I had a car, and it is not easy at all to find a parking spot. Not very friendly staff.
It is a very old hotel. Our room was very small, but we saw many other rooms much larger, very old furniture and uncomfortable.
For a little more money I think you can get something much better than this.
