A little bit out of town but not to far that you can't walk in.  The advantage of this is easy parking straight outside the hotel.
The lady we met was very friendly and although she didn't speak much english (and my french is not that good), she was always trying with a smile and a laugh.
The room was a small twin with a small balcony, and although small was clean and comfortable for the 3 nights we were there.
We had the breakfast on our last day as we wanted to get off early and it was a simple continental affair which filled a gap and reasonable priced.

Nice family run hotel

Had a pleasant 3 nights. Typical French hotel. Lovely owners who spoke English and helped with planning itinerary. Had French breakfast every morning and afternoon tea. It is about a mile and a quarter from town so if you are reasonably fit is walkable no problem, a 20 mins walk. Parking available.

Pleasant stay

The hotel is in a nice building and not too far from the town centre.  We had a small double room on the top floor which was clean (although not serviced on our last day) and had an ensuite bathroom and overall it was reasonable value for money.   However, I felt that it lacked atmosphere and could have had coffee making facilities (even just a kettle and a couple of mugs would have been useful, as there was nowhere in the immediate area to go out and get a cup of coffee).  There is a little terrace, but this is not available for guest use, which is a shame as the hotel has a pretty little garden.  Wifi was only available in certain parts of the hotel.
If you are using public transport, there is a bus stop within a few yards where you can catch a bus into town and they are very frequent.  It's not a bad place, but probably more suited for younger people.

OK, but not great

The hotel  is easy to find. It is on the main road, and the GPS will deliver you outside the door. I passed it by, however, and had to go round the block to gain access to the entrance which is not on the main road.

The exit emerges on to the same main road, and extra caution is necessary to enter the main street as parked cars will obscure oncoming traffic.

Owners/staff extremely friendly with a knowledge of English equivalent to my own schoolboy French. Their friendliness overcame any difficulties, however.
Room was basic, with TV and Wi-Fi available.

Its convenient location gives easy access to nearby restaurants and bars, and there is a delightful park within a short walking distance. In town, there are many restaurants to choose from in all price ranges. I recommend the Red Dragon, Chinese. Very good, speak English and reasonably priced.

Did not have breakfast due to an early start, but area set aside for meals seemed inviting.

Ask for a room away from the street, as a siesta after a long drive will be disturbed by the passing vehicles.

Suited me as a single traveller.

Fair price for what was on offer in August at €60.

Average Hotel with friendly staff

Rooms were small but clean and manager was helpful.
The building is an old house and rooms have been constructed in original rooms to add bath and toilet.
Parking is in the grounds and safe.
Maybe not the best place we have stayed but reasonable value for money except we thought the breakfast was expensive forcwhat it was.
