Together with my wife I stayed at Hotel Au Bout Du Quai for two nights in october 2019. The welcoming and service at this small and cosy hotel was extremely friendly. The hotel is close to nice and busy Granville shops and restaurants and the car parking was close to the hotel. Best regards to all hotel personnel from me and my wife!

Extremely nice welcoming at a small hotell

Clean, comfortable, simple accommodation in a convenient location with plenty of free parking nearby. A very warm welcome after a long drive was appreciated, together with good advice on local attractions. An excellent continental breakfast completed the package. Granville was a very nice stopover en route to the south and we would definitely return.

This hotel is a real treasure for the fantastic welcome and hosts. Location right by the station restaurants and shops. Super decor and cleanliness. And the breakfast a great start to the day. Not far to diors House. We really loved this stay and would definitely recommend

What else do you need

Spot on

Well located, chicly decorated in Dior style grey. Not luxurious but everything one needs. Spotlessly clean. Small but functional shower room. Hard working and charming hostess.  Good wines like Petit Chablis by the glass in the bar.  Good value place to stay for a visit to the Dior museum.

Simply charming

Was a long walk into the town. Room very clean, basic. ideal for short stay. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
We only had one night there but would not hesitate to go back.   We found that there was not very much in the town but was ok for one night.

good location

We chose this hotel because it said easy parking, which was true and for free. In front we could park our car.
The only down side was the shower, it was very small.
Nice staff. We had a room in the back that was quiet.

Nice hotel

Au Bout Du Quai was easy to locate opposite the railway station, with plenty of free parking available. The room was very plainly decorated/furnished and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee in the room was a bonus. It was an easy walk to the beach and the town. The walk to Musee Christian Dior takes 20 minutes.

Au Bout Du Quai offers comfortable, simple and immaculately clean accommodation.

This is a small family run hotel situated right by the station and 15-20 minutes walk from everything.  Our room was very small, we had to squeeze round the end of the bed to get in the bathroom, which was also rather cramped.  However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were not many places to put stuff which was tricky as we were staying a week.  The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, probably the best we have ever had in many years of travelling in France. Most stuff home made and fresh, or from local organic farms. A huge variety of dishes and the possibility of cooking ones own boiled egg.  A lovely selection of super breads (not a baguette in sight).  Although the hotel states that there is free parking available it can be almost impossible to find a space. The owners are friendly and helpful. 

Fantastic breakfasts

I stayed at this noisy, overpriced ,undersized roomed Hovel on a hill in Granville 50400 Normandy , the owner, a small creature with big expectations of profit and a very small regard for threats of violence and racial prejudice , Isabelle by name but certainly not !! belle! by nature ,having been told of noise from the drunken neighbours until the wee hours of the morning, if four am can be consideredd the "wee hours" and the threats of "ripping off my face" and the demand I return to "my own country, this is FRANCE" !! from a rat faced individual also staying in the hovel and witnessed by the owner or proprietor for our french readers , I made a complaint but all the dwarf (owner) " avec le faux sourire " false smile would do was precisely nothing !! ,in fact it joined in by demanding I respect the other resident !!  an absolute coward and of course a racist to boot ,nothing was done no "je suis desolette " ( I am sorry) just a demonstration of why not evryone should be in the hospitality game and certainly not when they are looking for the fast buck !! Granville is a worser place for this treacherous owner more so because it is all one might expect from that place ,the original of the Hotel says it all "Terminus" after staying there the two nights I realised I had certainly come to the "end of the road" Terminus !
