Stopped for one night on our journey back to Calais from the Alps. We were in the rooms just up the road from the Auberge itself (about 30m away) in the building where breakfast is also served. Good size room, very clean and very comfortable. 2 parking spaces directly in front of this building. The only issue some people might struggle with is that the Reception doesn’t open until 17:30, although you are informed of this on booking. 
We ate at the Auberge and what can I say? €24 each for an excellent 4 course dinner, superbly cooked, in a delightful place. Delicious. 
The owners were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. If you go to dinner early, you might be lucky enough to meet the very vocal village geese crossing over to the Auberge for a snack. It’s a quaint French village and simply charming. (Look out for the stuffed animals in the breakfast room).

Wonderful

We often stay here on our trips to the Alps, again did not disappoint.  Comfortable rooms, large, clean, comfortable bed.  We again opted for the evening meal in the restaurant/bar, a very social and friendly space to spend the evening.  The village is very quaint and worth a stroll around.  


Gem of a stopover on way to Alps

We stayed here as a family of four (two children 2/8) on the way back home from a two week holiday. 

The village is super cute, very French! The accommodation was lovely. The staff friendly and the food/beer In the restaurant very nice. 

I would recommend to family and friends and would visit again myself.

Great hotel for a stopover on way to Alps.  Bedrooms were in an annex and very comfortable and clean, large beds with good facilities.  The restaurant was very quirky with very friendly staff, good choice of food on menu.

Quaint Hotel

A typical rural logis with simple but very comfortable room.  The rooms are just 50 metres up the road from the actual logis and restaurant.  Superb breakfast that set us up for our long drive south. Excellent menu in the restaurant overlooking the pretty village square and fountain.

Beautiful village setting just 15 minutes from the Autoroute

Very comfy bed, great supper good value at€24 for 4 courses, breakfast filling and traditional.  Staff are really lovely.  Doesn’t open until 5.30pm which caught us out.  Capsule bathroom also a sprite, but it was fine

We stopped here overnight en-route to Provence.  It was a good choice, pretty close to the autoroute and with a couple of petrol stations in the nearby village on Rolampont so you can fill-up without paying Autoroute prices!

The hotel was charming and we had a room in the annexe which is about 50 mts up the road.  The room was a good size and perfectly comfortable.  Dinner in the restaurant was very tasty, if not sophisticated, and was very good value.  The Strawberries that I had for desert were divine.

Almost the highlight of the stay was the appearance of the flock of Geese who marched up the road to the hotel demanding bread!  Duly fed, they just sat down in the road and had to be treated as a roundabout by passing traffic.  Judging by the other photos on here, this was not a one off occurrence.

 The only real drawback is that check-in is not until 17.30 and there is little else around if you are early.  However, I would definitely use it as a stop-over again

Charming stop-over.

Quaint french pub with rooms,  room was simple but spotlessly clean, bathroom was functional plenty of hot water with great water pressure for the shower.  We ate at the pub, food was good and what we needed after a long drive.  Staff were friendly very pretty quiet peaceful village. 



Stay over on way back to Calais from Venice

Our stay here at the end of the third week in June was the first night of our holiday and a stopover on the way to Provence.  We were not disappointed. Auberge de la Fontaine seems to be the centre of village life: there is a combined restaurant and bar where one feels part of the community.
Our welcome, whilst not effusive, was polite and friendly and all the staff we encountered were likewise.  Initially we were surprised to find that our room was in an accommodation block about 50 metres up the street but this did not prove to be an issue.  The room was large, well decorated, very clean, and - unusual for France - had tea making facilities (much appreciated by a weary English couple).
The 4-course restaurant meal was delicious (particularly the cheeseboard with fresh cherries). Breakfast is taken in the accommodation block and there was a good choice including local honey. We'd definitely stay here again - not least to be reacquainted with the very friendly cat.

Quaint but friendly hotel in a quiet village

The shower can hardly be called a shower. It is one of these self contained plastic units.
The room we had was quite small. Beds were OK
Restaurant was quite acceptable with a four course dinner for € 24.
