Another review mentioned sat nav confusion at barriered road. The roundabout, uphill back on the main road, on which a circular cinema is located is the marker for the road to the hotel. On that roundabout first exit into what looks like an industrial estate has the start of small signs directing to hotel. A short distance from Limoges this hotel is set in peaceful grounds with bunnies on the lawn. I travel on a budget and this was a treat. Did not use the restaurant which costs about € 50 a head. So sneaked in food. Found the very posh coffee cup holder tray to be ideal to construct a crisp sandwich as long as you use a baguette as the tray is oblong. This is a 4 star hotel and is really nice. The cellar has a jacuzzi and steam room. The person at the desk takes your room card and activates it for the spa bit downstairs, free for our room, and you get a hour of private use. The steam room is very steamy so you have to keep talking or you lose each other, there is the bubbly bath jacuzzi thing too. You are issued free slippers that can be used to skate in the lift. Careful they are slippery. Your room key slots in the lift so you can go up. Make sure you put the key in the right way round. Being a buffoon I nearly spent the night in the lift or foyer before being rescued by the receptionist who put the key in the correct way round for the blithering idiot who was staring at the opening and closing doors in confusion. Staff are excellent. Did not have breakfast at €14 a head, even though we had scoffed all the crisps and baguette the night before and were hungry, because you can get about 2.4 Big Macs for that price and previous reviews comment the breakfast is limited in variety. Cost me €95 overall as a cheapskate but the ambiance and room quality was worth it.

Ooooh posh

Finding the road to the hotel almost defeated our SatNav when we were faced with a closed off road (turn around and continue to the next roundabout, and all will be revealed!) It is not at all far from the autoroute, but set in the outer fringes of Limoges, in its own grounds and at the end of an impressive driveway. The décor is modern and striking - a lot of money has been spent in creating something quite special. We were charged 165€ a night, and felt that this represented reasonable value for money, given the quality of the furnishings, the restaurant and the service. Wi-Fi is free and worked well in our first floor room (although it is only supposed to work in the public areas). Very comfortable, and a lovely setting. We shall be making an excuse to return one day...

Well worth investigating

A very good place to stay and chill out in the Limoges area. Spacious rooms , nice spa facility , good dining . Attentive service. Only 11 rooms all different sizes  so be sure to book in advance and specify choice.

Worth a stay

It is a gorgeous house, in a charming park. 
Excellent bedding in huge rooms. The breakfast was somehow too basic...
Pricey, but the place is worthwhile...
Maybe a bit too quiet. And I guess they should add some staff to provide a better service...

Nice and quiet place

the location is outstanding the bedding is excellent the rooms and sanitary installation is good. the view of the park is special. the pricing is inconsistent with great variations with the staff. booking directly is more expensive. 
the food and service is mediocre. long waiting.
