I stayed here for one night dinner bed and breakfast (‘nos formules affaires’) whilst travelling from Germany to the UK. 

The location is lovely, tucked away in a small village close to the motorway (not so close you can hear it!). Behind the electric gates is ample, flat tarmac parking (I was travelling by motorbike and it was perfect and secure) nestled between the beautiful house and a separate building. The garden is stunning; wonderfully maintained, pretty and tardis like in size! There is a lovely pool hidden at the bottom with a separate indoor jacuzzi. 

I was in one of the rooms in the main house. It was lovely and large with a balcony with chairs and table. The room was wonderfully decorated with a Nespresso machine, large walk-in rain shower and well appointed bathroom. It was great!

The hosts were lovely and provided a great value and very tasty dinner, complete with local (very nice!) beer. This was followed up with a wonderful and extensive breakfast in the morning. 

This is a fantastic, great value B&B that you will not be disappointed in! I will not be staying anywhere else when in the area.

We had a stop over on our trip to Paris and it was really a pleasure to stay at Le Domaine!
A carefully restored room with a cosy atmosphere and a comfy bed. There is a beautiful garden with an outside pool, a jacuzzi, and on the ground, there lives a pony and some chicken.
The breakfast was delicious with homemade cake, bread and jam. 
The hosts are very kind and gave us valuable recommendations for eating out in Valenciennes.We'd love to stay even longer!

This is really a must stay

We were taking our friends to see a relatives war grave and booked two rooms for two nights. The property, which is set behind electric gates, has a lovely rustic feel to it.
Jean & his wife Pascal are very friendly and welcoming and Jean speaks English which was a bonus as none of our party spoke French. The rooms were very clean & nicely decorated and the continental breakfast was very good. Highly recommended and we would stay there again if we required accommodation in that area.

Visiting a war grave

If it is possible to give a B & B a 7 out of 5, then this place would surely fit the rating.

Despite arriving very early after a journey from Normandy, we were immediately given our room. Both Monsieur and Madame could not do enough for us.

This place has magnificent greenery out the back. Our upstairs room was huge and welcoming. Chickens and Garfield ( their cat) added to the atmosphere, The breakfast room with colours to match cullinary added to the tranquility.

During our stay our IPad chord snapped resulting in our communications being cut off. Monsieur leant us his spare chord  and order was restored.

Location wise, Estreux is perfectly positioned a short distance from Le Quesnoy ( liberated by NZ troops during the closing stages of WW1) as well as the Flanders slaughter fields around Mesines and Ypres. Ferries from Calais and Dunkirk are also within easy reach by car.

Rating of  7 out of 5 is fully justified.

Thanks to their very welcoming and friendly nature (without overdoing it) you immediately feel at ease, and at home.
All rooms have been furnished with excellent taste, and everything is immaculate and inviting.

Well worth a stay.
We're definitely coming back.
