This is a great stopover for ferry and boat crossings to uk. We arrived at 11pm at Calais and the reception is 24h so had no problem with arrival. In addition they locked the gates for the night after we checked in so cars are secure over night especially important for those of us with cars parked with valuables. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and it’s correct for the low prices (bkfast at 9€ very affordable also! And would recommend). In addition to positive location and price I asked who runs the business and it’s a social project for employment supported by the local government and yes they need money to even break even! So in staying here you are also supporting a good cause! We will stay again!

A very pleasant, quiet stay in a place full of character and charm - simple and a little 'desuet' but clean and comfortable - Feeling very much at home and we enjoyed the morning walk in the park with our dog! thank you!

Relaxing stay before heading to the Eurotunnel

After a long day at the busy tourist-spots on the coast,
it's nice to return to this quiet place with its fantastic park
and drink a glass of wine under these old trees.

It is a bit fallen out of time, which is what my wife and me enjoyed a lot
(while the son complained a bit about the WIFI quality)

Beautiful location

One night stay, amazing staff, perfect breakfast, nice ground, huge family room and ideal hotel if you travel with a dog. Perfect location as not far from The Shuttle. Did not try restaurant as closed on sunday eve, so need an alternative, picnic is ideal as nice park. supermarket are closed on sunday afternoon so better to buy food the day before or on the foodshop on motorway if you plan a picnic 

Perfect stay , simple but good value for money

A friendly welcome, courteous and obliging staff.  Bedroom very comfortable and spacious, hair dryer and kettle provided, very unusual in France.  Lovely garden for walks, outdoor seating area, to enjoy the space and admire the lovely surroundings.  Good menu and food served at evening (and lunchtime)  in the dining room, small bar in the dining room for beers and wines.  Good choice for breakfast.  Perfect location for travelling on the Eurotunnel.  Good value for money.

A real Gem !

We travelled with a dog, allowed into the rooms but not the restaurant, That was disappointing as we had travelled 7 hours to get here and so need to get into the nearby town for a restaurant - not easy on a Monday night  in France!!. Otherwise very good value and great staff.

Handy for Cross-Channel crossing

Excellent value for money in a quiet location minutes from the motorway and twenty minutes from Calais and the channel tunnel. Very pleasant staff and good breakfast. Historic building in a park. The hotel is a little shabby inside. 

Good value for money

Great for an overnight with the dog. Friendly and helpful staff. Bedroom was clean, huge bathroom (was for disabled clearly). No issues at all. Easy to get to Eurotunnel also. Didn’t really use any facilities due to time constraints 

Decent

Towels were quite rough.  Bed very hard and not comfortable to sleep in.  Set in a beautiful location and very easy to find.  If a few changes were made it is certainly good value for money.  The food was lovely and the cost was very reasonable.

Location Superb

Very good value for money, fantastic facade. Great for a one night stopover close to Calais.
Hinges on bedroom doors could do with a bit of oil.
Overall a little quirky so not for everyone , interior design could do with a new makeover.
Worth a visit.
