Just visited Karine and Francois’s B&B in Vascoeuil for 4 Days. Family of 5 with 2 teenagers and toddler. 
What a perfect stay in a charming country house with great hospitality of Karine & François.

Location - 1h30 from Paris. 1h00 from the Sea
The house - super well decorated - relaxing atmosphere
The outside with the swimming pool, beautiful garden and animals (Billy the dog, Barnabé the Rabbit and the 3 cats)
The bicycles
The guest kitchen to prepare dinners (was a big advantage with a 1 yr toddler) - You can leverage the upscale grocery store walking distance from the house. 
And for those driving electric, beyond a 3kw plug in the garden, an 2x11/22 kw 300m from the house.



Charming & Relaxing B&B for family get-away

6 of us booked 3 rooms here (my husband and I took the big tent in the yard) for a family wedding that was taking place at the Chateau de Besmenil just up the road.  I had booked our rooms over e-mail with the gracious Karine in my bumbling French, so was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted by her husband, Francois, in fluent English.  We could not have asked for better hosts! We loved the local hard apple cider in the back yard, chatting over breakfast, meeting other appreciative guests and learning about life in rural Normandy.  
My mother, who was traveling with us, has so many food allergies that she needs to buy and prepare her own food. Francois and Karine gave her full use of their guest kitchen, which was invaluable. We were also advised where to buy local organic meats and produce right in Vascoeuil instead of having to take her all the way to Rouen to pick them up.. My mom LOVED the little market!

Wonderful home and people

We stayed here for four nights in August and could not have been happier. The hosts are wonderful and the rooms in the house were beautiful and comfortable. The pool was a welcome addition and the breakfast FANTASTIC. The area is quiet and you need a car to get around but it was perfect for what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend this to everyone and hope to return.

Fabulous place

This little place is wonderfull.. we stayed in the kabane and the kids in the small caravan. Our son is 1.70m and hardly fitted in this bed but the kids loved it! The Kabane is small with a bed, a toilet and a sink bath to shower in. Everything is decorated really nice! Francois and Karine are really nice hosts and the breakfast is with fresh bread, fruits, yoghurt and coffee. At one evening we’ve met nice guests and have had a wonderfull evening in the garden!

We booked in here because my partner, a designer, spotted this place on Instagram, and it proved to be a true find. Karine and François are lovely, very nice hosts and their home is so welcoming: carefully and tastefully decorated, quiet, comfortable. And that part of Normandy, which is a little less known than others, is also a hidden gem:  bucolic villages,vast landscapes of undulating fields and forests, old abbeys and amazing outdoor markets, just 1.5 hours north of Paris and less than 30 minutes east of Rouen. Easy o get to, and yet, worlds away from the hustle and bustle. To make a long story short, we liked staying with them so much and found their place and the area so enchanting, we decided to buy a place in the area. Being the helpful hosts that they are, they gave us a bunch of pointers on how to do just that!

An amazing place in an amazing corner of the world!

Rustic, friendly, welcoming home from home. Great family to stay with, made us feel very welcome. Great pets, lovely breakfast. Location is good and peaceful. We stayed here whilst riding Icelandic horses locally. We would stay again
