We booked in for a couple of nights to ensure a good base for exploring the area around Guerande and La Baule and the quality and style of this chic B&B was a definite find.

Although it does involve a car drive (or bus ride) to these resorts, there is much to see in the locale... including the fabulous Chateau Missillac.  The rooms are extremely spacious and uniquely designed by an architect/interior designer to represent different parts of the world (we stayed in the 'Africa' room); they are very comfortable and, because the B&B is not in the centre, extremely quiet.

The option of evening meal is worthwhile exploring.  The food is excellent and generous and the owners are very willing to accommodate your wishes for specific dishes... it is also very good value and hard to beat at local restaurants.

This rates, with us, as one of those 'genuine finds' that you seldom come across in life... good value, comfortable and extremely friendly... not at all like most chain or larger hotels!  We are already planning a return visit!

Extremely comfortable and very friendly

We very much enjoyed our brief one night stay in this charming B&B. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The chateau across the street was stunningly beautiful and served us a superb dinner. There did not appear to be much else in the area in terms of tourist attractions. However, we were passing through to Brittany and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a trip to the south west of France and our first stop was Villa Victoria.   Jane and her husband were very welcoming and I would have no hesitation in recommending VV.  Our bedroom was lovely, bed was so comfy and we had a beautiful ensuite.  Breakfast was yummy with fresh orange juice and homemade jams and cakes.  There is a lovely garden patio area which we were able to use which was great because the weather was so hot.  We played golf and ate in the evening at the Chateau de la Bretesche which is close by.

We loved it!

I was recommended to stay here when making a one night stop-over for business in the area. Mr and Mrs Moreau made me feel very welcome and at home, despite my late arrival. A cold beer was on hand to quench my thirst. I stayed in the Hong Kong room which is beautifully decorated. I enjoyed a fantastic night's sleep. Then an excellent breakfast, with whatever I wanted on offer. The gardens are lovely and even have a spa - unfortunately I didn't have time to sample. But I will return with my wife and take full advantage then. I cannot fault my stay. If only everywhere were this wonderful. I heartily recommend.

Absolutely Wonderful

I stayed with my husband in this place for 2 nights, the owners are wonderful, very friendly, they made are stay memorable, the room was very clean and nice, the area very quiet and only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town,
Do have breakfast, home made Jams and cakes, 
Will definitly stay again.
