Beautiful place, would highly recommend it! We stopped for a couple of nights with two kids and stayed in two rooms on the very top floor. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Gorgeous gardens, some animals, oh it was just so peaceful, beautiful and safe, the kids loved it and want to come back. Gregory and his family were great hosts, and Gregory cooked us a dinner both nights (he was a chef before), absolutely delicious! 
Everything was 5 star and we will definitely be back.

Gorgeous place!

Had  a lovely stopover her on way home, though a bit hard to find.  The Chateau is lovely, set in gorgeous surroundings, with huge garden were you can sit and enjoy a glass of vino. The bedroom was huge with a really comfy bed.   There is no restaurant on site, but not far into Dieppe for a bite to eat, about 20 mins.  I asked the owner to supply us a couple bottles of whine we were charged 18 /15 euros for a bottle red and rose which I thought was a bit  pricey.  breakfast wasn't very exciting I'm afraid, a pastry on the side, and a basket with couple croissants and bread.

Lovely place

Through long winding narrow roads, we entered a small village town with another gothic style cathedral church. The chateau is right next to this cathedral. When we saw the chateau, we immediately thought we would be staying inside the large, impressive building, however the hostess escorted us to an outside property just right of the chateau. It was almost like they had upgraded the old slaves quarters! So the french chateau feeling we were looking for, was upgraded to a modern, roof trussed bedroom with a spa bath. We had cheese, bread and wine and and a amazing evening inside. It was cold and wet outside, so we were quite content in the bath. A 2 seater bathtub with jets. 
The 5am wake-up with church bells ringing was very surprising. Not the way we had wanted to be woken up. Bells ringing incessantly so early in the morning made my heart leap out of bed quicker than me. 
Not only did these obnoxiously loud, religious bells wake us up, they woke up every bird sitting in every branch in every tree in the neighbourhood too. 
The hostess was friendly enough, however whenever I explained my french is quite bad, she would ramble on in high speed french regardless. 
Breakfast was bland and consisted of orange juice, tea, coffee, croissant, bread and jam, yogurt and fruit. A very plain and simple way to start the day.  Wi-Fi was only inside the chateau and did not reach the bedroom outside. We sat in the oddly decorated quiet lounge inside. We only stayed one night as well, so it was adequate.

Eerie, yet beautiful

I went to stay a couple of nights in that nice chateau.the bedrooms are nice,big and clean.the bed most comfortable but there is no service at all.you just get a bonjour and that is all.I miss a warm welcome  and a bit of humanity.it was soulless.A great pity as there is a potential.

Ouch! What a pity there is no service

We stopped over for one night here on our way back to the Eurotunnel after spending a month in France.  The place is beautiful, gorgeous infact, but a little tired in places it has to be said.  It was very hard to get the attention of the owner at reception when we arrived. You ring the bell at the front door and wait.................... well..................... we rang four times, and waited, and waited and waited. Finally after about 15 minutes the owner showed up.  She was very nice, but very cold. Thats the only word I can think of. Not very greeting or full of warmth,, felt almost like we had disturbed her and she wasnt entirely happy.   Anyway, that aside, we had booked a cottage in the grounds, and she said suddenly that the cottage was not available, in her broken english, and that we would have to stay in a room in the chateau with our 3 dogs. Sadly the price increased by 15 euros for that, even though that was not our fault, and she gave strict instructions that the dogs were not to sleep on the bed. Which we wouldnt allow anyway. I felt she was stating the obvious, but ho hum, I accepted the message she was giving.   We booked dinner in the dining room, which to be fair, was excellent. 39 euros per head and the dinner truly was fantastic. Really really good, no complaints at all. Simply delicious. Every single course.was lovely. We had a good nights sleep, the room was lovely, but then we came to check out. Nowhere on the site does it say anywhere that they only accept payment in cash........... nowhere. I checked several times. We handed over our card to pay and she was very dismissive saying she only accepts cash in payment. Nothing else.  We actually didnt have enough on us, as we were on our way back to the tunnel and only had 155 euros left in cash on us.  The Bill for one night, for room, 2 dinners, 1 bottle of wine, and 3 dogs was 255 euros.   She left us in the reception area wondering how to sort out the difference. I had my french cheque book and card with me as I have a french account also,  and asked if we could pay the difference on our french card or french cheque. Again she said no, and directed us the direction of a cash point in the village................. which of course we had to attend to take out more cash with which to pay.  I agree with another reviewer who stayed who mentioned that this is less like a hotel and more like a home for a family, who run a few hotel rooms on the side as a little business to help boost their income.  I would recommend it here if you like good food in a beautiful location. But not if friendliness and warmth of the staff matter to you.  I felt a little like we were putting her out or disturbing her both when we arrived, when we came down for dinner and when we left.  Had the owner been warmer she would have gotten a four star, but because of the lack of attention to detail in welcome and warmth, I feel I can only give it a 3 star sadly. But the place itself is gorgeous. Just gorgeous.  Quirky to a degree, but gorgeous.  Would I stay there again, sadly no.  But it was nice to have stayed there once and seen the place.  But I wont be returning sadly which is a shame because its lovely and the food is great.

STUNNING HOTEL, GREAT FOOD, BUT WARMTH OF OWNER SOMEWHAT LACKING

Our room was on the top floor, and although spacious and nice view of garden, the bathroom consisted of a toilet and shower unit in the bedroom separated by a wooden screen. A very small television fixed above the door, which did not work as no signal.
Same with WIFI, advertised with Free Wifi, but no connnection possible in the room, only on the groundfloor. 
Breakfast very basic, and what you would least expect for the price we paid.
Dinner was a very expensive joke at €39 per person for overcooked, and burnt food, luckily in very small portions. Supermarket wine @ €20 a bottle.
Good location for discovering the surrounding areas and attention to detail paid to the interior decor. However, if the same attention was given to the service which was lacking and very poor, we might have had a chance to enjoy our stay. Sadly from the    cold welcome (felt we had disturbed the lady of the house during her lunch break)to the lack of interest and poor service during dinner (we were the only ones) and this being our most expensive stay, we ended up with a memory we would like to forget ASAP. The owners should either learn about the hospitality business or think of other ways to make some extra money. Nobody likes to feel as if they have been "ripped off" and made a fool off.
