We decided to stop off at this B&B en route down to the south, based on the location and other reviews we read.  Super location, warm welcome and a lovely breakfast.  In short one of the nicest B&Bs we've stayed in.  Will definitely make this a regular retreat.

Simply lovely

We paid a return visit here after our most enjoyable stay last year - and it was just as good this time too. Isabelle's a great host and a cuisiniere formidable - just sample the breakfast and you'll see what I mean. It seems that she's also now offering an evening room service cold platter - we'll definitely be sampling that when we're back in France next year. Welcome, service, location and accommodation are all first class here, and as a stop-off point en route further south or for a holiday locally, it's ideal

Delightful

We stayed here on our way and way back from a wedding in the south. I don't want to repeat all the other reviews but it really is just lovely as they all suggest. We have 2 children 2 and 4 and we were made very welcome and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The children loved exploring, running around outside and playing on the climbing frame and trampoline. Much needed after a day in the car. On our first stay we walked to la bouille and ate at the creperie which was fine and it had a children's menu. On the way back Isabelle prepared a meal for us which was a real highlight of our break. Isabelle made us a 3 course meal with melon, homemade lasagne, panna cotta and local cheese with wine for a very reasonable price. The children loved the home cooked food and it was just a fantastic relaxing evening. Perfect after a long day driving. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were very comfortable in 'la bois' room and enjoyed everything about our experience at domaine du bas caumont. When we next travel through France we will definitely go back. It was so lovely I would even love to go back and stay for longer and explore the area. Thank you Isabelle!

Perfect!

We had an overnight here with a young family in mid July this year.  The accommodation is in the most wonderful setting- close to a beautiful little village with many restaurants.  The rooms are very nicely furnished, and wonderfully comfortable.  Our host was very friendly and accommodating to our young family.

In the morning the breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of fresh baked goods, jams and preserves, fruit salad, juices and tea and coffee- the perfect start to the day, and for the onward journey!

Beautiful, comfortable accommodation in a wonderful setting

Isabelle was the perfect host and we couldn't of stayed at a nicer place, breakfast was amazing and the view from our room was breath taking

The location was perfect and there is plenty of restaurants in La Bouille, only a 15 minute walk
