When  a stay at a luxury hotel offers nothing new, how about a luxury B&B? This family run B&B in a meticulously restored old villa has 4 - 5 guest rooms. Each of them is unique, decorated with modern art. Actually the whole villa is a modern art exhibition.

In the morning you enjoy your excellent breakfast in a beautifully decorated dining room with a view to a beautiful garden. During the warm season there is a pool available to the guests in the garden.

Marvelous experience - a Luxury B&B filled with modern art

The decision to book as accommodation whilst watching the Europa League Final in Basel turned to it to be inspired.

Danielle and her lovely family made us feel totally welcome in their stunning home. This home, the decor, the wonderfully appointed bedrooms, not to forget the beautiful grounds made our short stay a total pleasure.

I cannot recommend the Villa Eden more highly a ten out of ten in all respects. But probably the highlight was the families willingness to be of service to their house guests, be it a lift to the station, a delicious sandwich made at no notice because we had missed lunch pretty much says it all.

What a find

We have stayed in Villa Eden during Basel watch and jewellery fair for 1 week in March. Me and my colleagues were so warmly welcomed by Daniela and Aron, that we felt home, where you want to stay and enjoy every minute of the beautiful villa and surroundings. The rooms are very pretty, clean and stylishly decorated. Breakfast was delicious! We thank Daniela and her family for such a warm hospitality, we didn't want to leave Villa Eden and incredible family, who became our friends and we are looking forward to see them soon!

We stayed in the Black and White room on the 14th and 20th September 2014 on our driving trip from England to Italy. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the delightful Daniela and she immediately made us feel at home with a nice cappuccino and her wonderful hospitlity. All the rooms (not just the guest rooms) are extremely tastefully decorated and furnished.  How fortunate we felt to be able to share Daniela and Aron's home and we loved every minute of our stay.  Breakfast was fantastic and the croissants were the best we had not only in France but also in Italy.  Unfortunately, their Italian restaurant (Il Gusto) is closed on Sundays but there are local restaurants nearby that you can walk to and Daniela was most helpful in making recommendations. However, we were able to enjoy an amazing meal at their restaurnat on our return trip.  If you want to stay in a beautiful, clean, magnificent villa and be treated as a friend by your hosts, Villa Eden is the place to stay.  Merci beaucoup Daniela et Aron.

Best Croissants in France

You would be hard pressed to feel as comfortable, welcome, and at home anywhere else as you would at Villa Eden. Everything about this place is unforgettable. The villa is magnificent, with beautiful art, spacious/tasteful rooms, abundant breakfast, and a short ride to the train station. But the best feature is the warmth and hospitality of the owners, Daniela and Aron. They really made my stay here special, unique, and unforgettable. If you like to be pampered, stay here!
