I had hoped to stay in this beautiful B&B, but the business has closed and every bit of furniture has been removed.  The Chateau is, however, for sale.  They were asking 2.4 million Euros, but have since dropped the price to 1.9.  All rooms have been remodeled and all ten bedrooms have ensuite modern bathrooms that were done quite well.There is a very nice spiral staircase, bonus rooms in the two central towers, a commercial kitchen in the garden, (basement) level, a nice gatehouse with two bedrooms, and a nice out-building with stables and barn area.  There are enormous old pine trees and even big redwood trees growing around the chateau. 42 acres, more or less.

We stayed to break our journey from Calais to the SW and were very impressed with the quality of the renovations, furnishings and food.  The restaurant is beautiful but could perhaps benefit from some background music as it was extremely quiet. The carriage ride was a bonus the next morning.  Looking forward to staying again

I live nearby, and it's closed down; it had a varied reputation, not many recommendations from local people but few people went there; there is a very good restaurant in the village of Savigny,  The only time I went there to try and reserve a table they were not very welcoming, so I gave up - perhaps that is why it has now shut down.

This is really disappointing. 
To begin with, we went as a family on a Groupon voucher advertised as Chateau Menu for 2 at half price, €78. Turns out that is the normal price for the menu. And then, almost every course option carried a supplement, up to €12. For all that, there did not seem to be the hand of a chef anywhere, with most meals seemingly bought in and frankly ordinary. 
The wine list was dominated by wines from Pierre Chanau, which everybody knows is the house brand of Auchan supermarkets. OK at a price, but this place charges €23 for a Muscadet that costs €3,60 at Auchan. Kids menu €15 for a miserable mince pattie and chocolate mousse in a jam jar... Really! 
This is such a shame, as the setting is beautiful. One expects so much more. In summary, embarrassing. A éviter à tout prix!

Do not eat here

We stayed recently and it was awful..Poor service Poor management.I wont bore you with a list of grips just to say a hot bath and decent food for the money would have helped alittle..Such a pity such a lovely building is being treated this way. Fortunately we found another beautiful Chateau a short distance away and were relieved to find it as we dreamed. So shop around.
Sadly I'm also not surprised about all the bad comments from past guests  I've read here..I do however find the Sarcastic Reply's from the so called Hotel Management condescending and of course rude (What a surprise?)
