We stayed 2 nights with our baby in the hotel. I don’t understand why it’s only a 2 star hotel! It deserves much more. Very nice hotel, very comfortable spacious room, nice and helpful staff who provided us with a boiler and everything we needed for the baby. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to this area. Very much recommended!

Very nice hotel

Stayed here in June for four days half board. Had a lovely room wth balcony and an upstairs bedroom. Staff spoke good English and were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Lovely jams! Evenng meal was always plentiful and tasty.  Four courses including cheese. Half board option was very good value.
Good location for travelling the route du vin.

Great hotel n lovely setting

The staff at this hotel are warm and friendly and go out of their way to tend to your needs. The room was fairly spacious by European standards, with a large bathroom. Located in a quiet site just outside the village. We woke to only the sound of the birds ( and the rain) every morning. The on-site restaurant is wonderful. Good food, great service! On the Alsacian wine route, close to many attractions such as Mont Ste. Odile. A few other good restaurants in the village, and don't forget to visit chocolatier Jennifer Scherer!

Great accommodations in a lovely village.

Spent this year's Easter there with my family. Very nice and calm location. The staff members were all very nice, especially the receptionist who also speaks English and German and the waitress serving breakfast. 
Breakfast itself was a nice surprise. You get a nicely made table with lots of food, including small cakes,yogurt, petite pains with jams, cheese and meat plates. 
I also highly recommend to go to the restaurant. The menu concentrates on alsatian/french cuisine but is tasty and the meat dishes are very well prepared. 
Will come back again.

We spent two nights at the Domaine le Moulin in September during a time when it was fairly quiet.  The hotel is located just outside the village of Ottrott   We were warmly welcomed by a woman at the front desk and shown to our room, which was a bit outdated but cozy with wood paneling and a balcony.  

Both evenings we had drinks on the terrace after our travels in the surrounding towns and countryside.  Husband loved the local beers:  Fischer, Hirsch, Meteor, LIcorne, and I adored the Crement d'Alsace, the local bubbly in white and rose if I was lucky.  We later had dinner in the dining room, which interestingly is on the second floor.  The menu was full of Alsatian specialties such as wursts, offal, sauerkraut.  Our first night husband started off with a terrine made with pig's head and I had half a dozen of escargots.  Husband then had magret de canard, and I had chicken in a cream sauce with spaetzle.  We finished with ice cream and a lovely mousse au chocolate.  We shared a bottle of the local wine - a red Ottrott.  Reds are not so common in Alsace, so I was thrilled to discover this wine.  Unfortunately is not available in the US, so the next day we searched out the winemaker and bought several bottles to take home with us.

Breakfast was continental unless you asked for charcuterie, cheese or eggs.  Our second morning we did request the charcuterie and cheese and were treated to some lovely local cheeses and meats.
