Lovely hotel! Small, very French and pretty and the location is excellent, close to central Paris and walking distance or short taxi ride to all the sights of Paris. It's on a main busy road so felt safe always and there were many great restaurants nearby so after a day's sight seeing we were able to return to hotel for a break and then go out later to eat locally. We had a room to the front, it's a busy street but I enjoyed looking out and the area quiet in the night. The bedroom and bathroom was small but we expected that in Paris, bed and bedding were very comfortable. The front desk was not very friendly but courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Great small hotel in central location

For this trip to Paris, I decided to stay in a location that was near all.  This hotel along St. Germaine Boulevard is exactly that.  It's near great restaurants, Monoprix and City Pharma.  

The decor is old style French and rooms small (typical in French hotels) but they are clean.  Bathrooms appear to have been updated which is great.  One comment- there should be an electrical outlet where the water kettle is. I had to use the outlet by the floor.

Quaint hotel in a great location 

The perfect positioned hotel for shopping and eating and yet easy access to crossing the river. The rooms are well presented if a little quirky and the breakfast room is airy and light especially if you manage a table in the conservatory. Plenty of choice for breakfast and attentive staff.

EXCELLENT POSITION

What a great boutique hotel! My wife and stayed here for our babymoon and loved everything about it. The location is amazing, right across the street from Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and famous cafés Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore. It is also just a 5 minute walk to the seine river and the Louvre and about a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. In addition, there are so many great restaurants nearby that we never felt the needs to leave the area to eat.

We upgraded to the Standard Room, which was on the second floor with a view of the abbey and cafés across the street. This is happening area and I thought there would be a lot of street noise, but the room is well insulated and the area surprisingly quiets down at night. The room is quite large especially for Paris and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small, but efficient and the shower was great with a rain shower head in addition to a hand-held spray head. The front desk employees were very courteous and helpful anytime we had questions or needed assistance.

I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when back in Paris!

Perfect hotel in a even better location

The hotel is in the heart of Saint Germain, so you stay at a walking distance from beautiful places in Paris, with excellent restaurants around.
Very comfortable and clean bedroom and also a very nice staff.
