Clean and welcoming hotel. Lots of place to park and clean swimming pool. Nice outdoor space to chill or have breakfast. Nice and professional owner who was always really helpful with our request and help full with our request. 4  la The location is ideal to visit most castles in the area. Highly recommended.


Great host and value for money

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is simple but very nice, full of character in an old building. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge by reception, lovely room. Staff were wonderful and helpfu. The location cannot be beaten. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very good!

My husband and I spent July 8th to 12th at Hotel du Cygne. We had a wonderful visit the hotel was very well located and the staff were all wonderful. A very special thank-you to Isabelle she was very kind and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Stay in July 

We (two young girls) were originally staying at a hostel, but there was a mistake in our reservation, so we had to book a last minute room here. 

To our relief, we were taken very well care of by the sweetest receptionist! He was lovely to chat with and made our stay feel very safe and personal. He also gave us some great tips on what to do and see in Paris. This was definitely the highlight of our one night stay there.

The location also suited us perfectly! Very central, and located in a vibrant part of Paris - merging with places great for both breakfast, dinner and drinks. 

A love letter to your receptionist

First of all i need to say a big thank you to Jannick who is working in reservation department .Every single question that ı had he has written to me very quickly response which was very helpfull.thank you François as well who is very friendly and kind. Staff have done my holiday very easy .this lovely hotel is 5 minutes far away from metro and you can walk everywhere from here, room are very comfortable and very well cleaned by Housekeeping .I recommend this hotel. thank you Hotel du Cygne family.

Very helpfull staff ,perfect location , nice room

I spent a couple nights at Hotel du Cygne in April. The reception lady was friendly and super helpful showing us a little map of the surroundings and places to see.
The room was cleaned every morning and beds were made.
The location is great as well. we had a plaisant time.

nice little hotel

Lovely traditional hotel, in the heart of Paris 1st ARR. Stayed 4 nights as sole female traveller. All staff were charming, helpful and friendly. Room was modern, clean and comfortable with ensuite. Serviced daily. Well ventilated with opening window and fan. Very comfortable bed and blackout curtains. Safe in room.
A little noise in the mornings from traffic and also from passers-by in the evening, only to be expected in a city centre. Extremely convenient location for shops, Metro, restaurants, Pompidou Centre and the Louvre. 
No lift and steep staircase. 
Very fair price considering quality and location. 
Would be happy to stay again.

Lovely hotel in great location for a very fair price.

Very nice place. Full of character. An old house. Rooms are great. The small rooms with toilet outside need to go up or down the stairs. If you have got bad knees it is not a place for you. French breakfast is OK.

Style and close to the center

A very comfortable friendly place to stay. We enjoyed the location of this hotel. It was in a great location-near public transportation but also in a very good walking location. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They even brought us coffee to drink while we were waiting on our cab the morning we left. 

Enjoyed our stay 

This was the first time I had been to Paris and didn't know what to expect.  My French is terrible.  The staff was great; they were welcoming and patient with me.  My room was small but sufficient for what I needed and cozy.  I left the window open the whole night and was not disrupted by noise given the size of the city I was in.  The bathroom was shared an on a different floor.  The stairs were steeper than I am used to and the doors shorter.  I was able to walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre.  The metro stops a block away; so easy!  I would stay here again, but I would buy their breakfast next time.
