This house is amazing , beautifully decorated, and well appointed, you can see the owners really care . This is our second stay with friends , and we had great fun . They provide canoes, paddle boards and a small boat , as the house is on a river this is a wonderful facility. The house is opposite a fabulous boulangerie , to get your early morning bread and pastries . There are some lovely local restaurants and beaches aren’t far away. 
I would highly recommend this establishment

Fun times in  Pons

Third visit.. idyllic house on the river. Love the ducks and taking a boat down the stream .Beautifully decorated home with absolutely everything you require. The town has restuarants.. cafes .. shops and Pons is a good base to explore the surrounding region. 
Looking forward to the next visit.

I had an amazing time staying at Les Balcons de la Seugne! The home was absolutely lovely, with super comfortable beds and amazing amenities. Everything was clean and the furnishings were top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in a beautiful town. Highly recommended! 😊🏡


Amazing Find!!

Great place with lots to do close by or a train journey away, pretty and peaceful will definitely be going back. Lovely local bars and short walks to some lovely views and activities. The house alone was amazing and a lot better than expected 

Great French get away 

Stayed here for 5 nights with friends and it was amazing! Lovely building with plenty of space. Very clean and tidy, also very comfortable beds! Beautiful scenery all around with plenty of lovely food and drinks spots close by, a great little shop only a short 10 minute walk up the road for all your needs! A 5 minute walk to the station, everything is in perfect distance. Very peaceful and quiet with very friendly locals! I definitely recommend and will most definitely be visiting again!

5 STAR - Amazing stay!

If you want spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious accommodation in a scenic location that is minutes from the centre of Pons, then this is the best place. We stayed in early-to-mid January, our hosts were warm and welcoming, had lots of local information we needed - and the food was excellent.
The room was a suite, not just a bedroom. If you want a meal on Sunday evening, book one of Sue's dinners, you won't be disappointed. Her breakfasts are excellent, too.
We are just back and still buzzing! Fab place.

Better than all the rest

We had a fabulous stay here. The hosts were a super couple who made us very welcome in what is essentially their home. Our room was large and well appointed, with a great ensuite. Our bed was very comfortable, and even in the dead mid-winter we were never cold. Breakfast comes from a superior boulangerie right across the street, and as a bonus they have a sweet and friendly cat called Spirou. Highly, highly recommended, particularly if you want to spend more than just a day or so in Pons, an excellent base for exploring this interesting region of France. And a tip - book directly with the hosts to get the best price.

A great find in an interesting region of France

Our fellow travellers reviews speak for themselves so I will try to be brief. 

Sue & Peter are great hosts and made us feel very welcome in their very comfortable home. Arriving on a Sunday we were concerned that we might not be able to eat locally, so instead had a very enjoyable dinner with Peter and Sue and our fellow guests. Good company, good food and good wine. 

I would recommend that you book direct with them, as Peter can provide very clear instructions on where to park. Whilst we left our car in a small nearby public car park, it felt  secure and dropping our bags off outside the house was simple.  

Wifi worked well and I was able to settle our bill by bank card which was helpful.

Pons is a charming small town and a good place to base yourself if exploring the area. 

We will return.

Fantastic hospitality, very comfortable, clean, great location. We were visiting for a wedding and the hosts were extremely flexible with our requirements. Also a very nice brandy on the last evening! We would highly recommend to anyone.

We came to Pons for a friend’s wedding - and this accommodation was recommended. It was a wonderful place, full of charm in a beautiful setting by the river. The room was spacious and comfortable; Sue and Peter was fabulous hosts; welcoming, helpful and very hospitable to us and our friends.
