Another wonderful stay at Le Galion. The new addition of the villa, extension and pool have transformed the place making it an even more gorgeous place to stay.
Very friendly staff attended to our every need. The pool is pristinely clean and the sun bathing and seating area is a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast served in the villa dining area over looking the harbour. Fantastic selection of offerings and we loved the open kitchen where the chefs were preparing our cooked breakfasts. It’s a triumph for the hotel. We were extremely well looked after especially by Victor who attended to our every need as a group of 6 friends. 

A Wonderful Weeks Stay

Le Galion is good value especially compared with other hotels in the vicinity. Comfortable rooms and perfect location. Our expectations were exceeded. This is a wonderful hotel, and we're grateful to the friendly staff and informative manager. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Comfortable and friendly

Lovely little hotel in a perfect position on the edge of the harbour. Quite noisy if guests have congregated around the pool for drinks. Car park very handy to keep car safe off the road but a little too small and tight for modern cars 

3 night stay as part of road trip

Lovely Hotel with efficient and helpful staff. They stored our luggage a day in advance as we were staying with family who were leaving earlier than we were and could not be more helpful. receptionist organised a taxi for us on the day of our departure. It is difficult, to say the least to secure a taxi on the Island at the weekend. The Portuguese owner was omnipresent and even spoke a few words of Irish(gaelic). What more could you ask for?

Lovely little hotel close to every facility you may require

The location is perfect for the harbour restaurants and shops. The children’s donkey rides, mini golf and fairground is just next door. We travelled as a family with three children and it was perfect for us. We had adjoining rooms which were a clean and spacious for our family. The pool was a delight and staff super helpful and friendly. 

Perfect location

The hotel was great. Lovely courtyard and pool. Secure underground parking. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very close to the marina and restaurants in the town.
The staff were very helpful, suggested restaurants and organised bike hire.

Great Location

We had a relaxing couple of days - quiet location but with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby - the view from our room was lovely , sea and the lighthouse . Rooms are a bit on the small size - but we had everything we needed . 

Lovely place to stay

We visited for 2 nights in September after finding the hotel online. It is situated right at the front of St Martin, overlooking the park before the Ramparts. Our room was on the first floor above the entrance. There was some noise as deliveries were unliaded early in the morning. We found the whole experience very relaxing. The hotel and room were spotless, the room a little small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The staff were all lovely and helpful. We were texted a code to allow us into the town to unload our luggage, and were then advised that the closest car parks were expensive, but there was a free car park 10 minutes walk away. So we unloaded, checked in, and went to the free car park. We didn't eat in the hotel, as we don't eat large breakfasts, and prefer to visit a local bakery for coffee and croissants. We were there on a Sunday and Monday, and unfortunately,  restaurants close on these nights, including the hotels restaurant. We had one average meal out and one excellent meal. The only thing missing for us was air con in the room, not a problem in September, but would put us off visiting in peak season. 

Delightful hotel in a delightful town.

We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of food cooked to order or the buffet. We had a pretty room and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. 

Lovely hotel

We only stayed here one night but it was really really nice. The bedroom was quiet with v comfy bed and , surprisingly in France, a kettle for tea. Breakfast was one of the very best with cooked choices as well as a great array of pastries, cake and meats etc
