I stayed there for 02 nights. The hotel is owned by a family who also happen to stay in the same building. You get a homely feeling and the people are really warm. Hotel is nice, Clean and the view from the room was excellent.

Excellent hotel

Business hotel located in an industrial environment in the vicinity of Valence. The room was convenient and well furnished with a desk. Meals are quite standart nor good nor bad. Meeting room with projector. Helpful staff. 
Good for business but less attractive for tourism.

Businesstrip in the South of France

We've been there my girlfriend and I for business, the hotel looks firstly standard. The inside is simple, it's true the place was renovated, but it still pretty regular also into the room. Bummer according to me for a 3 stars hotel. Even so, the receptionist is friendly and smily, and the breakfast worthy of this kind of place, with planty of french pasteries and local specialties as honey, jam, cheese... however I was sorry about the lack of FRESH orange juice, not only from a juice carton!!! About the quality of sleep nothing to deplore, we slept very well and heard nothing all night long. If you're looking for a place where to stay on your way, I recommend that place, if not I would look for something else especially for a long time vacation.

Pretty good!

Room are very small and very basic but clean. - if you decide to go, make sure to have a room on the first floor - there is 3 rooms right beside reception desk and the bar is closed by and it could be noisy at night....  Parking is too small for the hotel as if the hotel is full, you might have to parked on the street.... 

Breakfast are ok - not a lots of variety,  but good coffee !   Dinner is interesting for business traveler - some local signature dishes including Raviole...  very good.  and the rest is nice.  

Everything closed at 11PM including the front desk, so do not forget your key.   The location is remote with only a big supermarket closed by (Leclerc) and a tex-mex restaurant that have interesting menu... 

Overall Karene Hotel is a typical business travel hotel (Holiday Inn) with small but clean room and a better restaurant...  Do not expect the Provence atmosphere or a life time experience...
