Overal experience was great . Service and  "bungalow" , personnel was super .  An update on the Wifi Access is needed. If possible on the Sattelite TV reception some english channels would be great.

Perfect vacation

Campsite was very family friendly. The staff were really helpful. Forgot a ton opener and went to ask for help they opened it for me at the bar area. Entertainment was good in the evening. I saw some bad reviews for this campsite but I don’t think it warrants some of the remarks! The slabs near showers do need repairing but it’s not the end of the world!! Swimming pool was great my little one really enjoyed it.  Pitch was nice and private and we really enjoyed our 5 nights stay, thank you!!

Enjoyable stay!

We have a touring caravan and this is a very good site.  Extremely helpful and welcoming in the reception, thank you Justine!  Lovely pool and free wifi in bar/ reception area.  The showers had plenty of hot water.

Very helpful and pleasant site

very child friendly site, have been several times before. facilities and staff excellent, would not hesitate to stay again next time we are in France.
The bistro served great food and drinks at reasonable prices, and although it was very busy for the first few days the service was good.



caravan holiday

Our stay was extremely pleasant. The campsite is nicely arranged and well-maintained. I would especially like to commend the staff, who were always at our service. Really excellent. A critique would be the lack of internet and some entertainment facilities. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant or bar nearby where one could sit in a warm place. The pool is also very good, although the cleanliness of the changing rooms could be improved, and warm showers are also missing.

Our Stay

nice location and nice swimming pool for the kids. you can make friends in your own language, easy for the kids. meals were very simple. nice villages to visit and were you can eat. overall recommendation of this campsite.

Enjoyed our 2 nights camping stay at La Val de Trie. We chose the site because it was close to friends who were staying in a holiday let just up the road from the site. We were more than happy with the facilities available, the campsite staff (owners?) were friendly folk and we had a superb meal in the onsite brassiere. Can definitely recommend.

Nice, quiet site

The site was easy to find and we received a friendly welcome. This caters mainly for French families who have hired cabins. There was a snack bar, a heated indoor pool and playground. The pitches were under trees, fine in hot weather but the weather was dull and wet so everywhere felt damp. Our pitch was quite large and hedged. The toilet block was clean and showers were good. 

One nighter?

Had an issue with the wifi logged on at 10am and 10.03 got a msg saying I had used my data allowance for the day went in said to the staff was told someone would be round shortly to fix the issue an hour later went in and enquired again was told couldn’t find the wifi guy I said would be back later hopefully sorted by then went to local town of Abbeville for a few hours came back asked if problem had been sorted was told I must have used my data allowance for the day I only turn it on so explained again what had happened and was told wifi guy would look at it shortly so an hour later went back in girl
Who was Ment to be dealing with it hit up from reception walked through to the shop away from me other girl tried her best to look busy but eventually went through and spoke to girl 1 came back and told me couldn’t find wifi guy I was sat outside she didn’t move off her chair so another hour later partner went in to enquire and was told shouldn’t have brought a laptop and wifi guy was busy yeh had rebooted the wifi and everyone else’s was working so a wasted day being ignored and lied to

Lied and ignored

I was with my family for a one night stay in Camping Le Val De Trie and we were very disappointed for having payed more than 200 euros for a 3 bed rooms that was tiny, with no access to the WiFi (must be closed to the reception...).

The positives were:

- They are located in a beautiful place, full of nature
- Big parking space
- Safe for kids to play out there

Negatives

- Very small rooms, kitchen, really smaller than what one can or should have for 220 euros
- No WiFi access, unless you go to the reception
- Some weird duties the customer must accomplish, such as: putting all the dishes on the dinning table before checkout, huh...?
- We found very dirty table and chairs to be used outside

Overall, I don't recommend this place, not at all, it is way too expensive for the quality they offer.
