We experienced the luxury of receiving a warm welcome and being made to feel part of a large friendly family by the guesthouse charming hosts, Laurence and Stéphane. 
The guesthouse is clean and comfortable. 
It is set in very peaceful and extensive recently created wild romantic gardens which are filled with flowers and a wide array of fruit trees. 
The food is excellent and great care is taken by Laurence and Stéphane to ensure that only fresh products are used. 
The delicious homemade yoghurt served at breakfast deserves special mention. 
We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay of seven days and wouldn't hesitate to further recommend    "Domain du Vern". 
We are very much looking forward to our next stay. 


Comfortable guesthouse with charming hosts set in extensive wild romantic gardens

we stayed with Laurence and Stephane several times, and we will stay again if the occasion arises.  they have very nice rooms, they are wonderful hosts, very convivial and outgoing.  the table d'hote is very nice and the conversation is always lively.  lovely place. lovely people..   merci

We loved staying there. We didn't know what was a Chambre d'Hotes' experience and it was fantastic! We had dinner with really kind and funny people and we learnt a lot. We could practice our French as we were the only Spaniards among them but we felt like at home.
Situation of the house is really good as it is close to lot of places for visiting. Everything fantastic with a lot of charming Templar villages. Hosts were really kind and cheerful, they helped us by informing about all the things to be done around. 
Dinners and breakfasts amazing!

Una experiencia estupenda

We had the great pleasure of staying at Le Domaine du Vern for one night last month. This charming establishment is run by Stéphane who is passionate about food (and all things related thereto) and his wife Laurence who enjoys welcoming people from all over the world into their home. We also had the great good fortune to dine there.

We were an Australian, a Scotsman and a Welshman at a long table of French folk but did not feel left out at all. It was like being at a big, lively family dinner. And the food was outstanding. Stéphane produced a fantastic rabbit dish that converted me to the pleasures of eating rabbit. The dinner was remarkable value too, given the fact that we were able to enjoy a 4 course meal as well as apéritifs and wine. Breakfast was also served at the long table and we were presented with, amongst other things, a vast array of breads and jams as well as home-made yoghurt.

The rooms at Le Domaine are individually themed and are cosy and quiet. So, you not only eat well here, you sleep well too. I would unhesitatingly recommend Le Domaine as a place to stay for anyone visiting Saint-Affrique or the area nearby.

A Truly Wonderful Experience

We stayed at Domaine du Vern for three nights. They will remain in my memory forever as three of the most enjoyable days we have had in France.
Our hosts made us very welcome and we joined all the guests at dinner each night. While my French is very poor, and all the guests were French, we were included at all times. There was laughter and lots of conversation during the meal.
The dinners were delicious. Full of flavor and variety and accompanied by very nice French wines.
Madame gave me some guides in English to the best places to visit. Monsieur even picked me some fresh figs to take on our journey - and they were gobbled up very quickly.
Our room was nestled on the third floor. It was large, airy and beautifully decorated. The bed linen is crisp, clean and very chic.
We could have stayed longer as there are some marvelous sights nearby - especially the viaduct over the Tarn at Millau.
Don't hesitate, just go there.
