We love this B & B.  On returning for a second visit we found it as perfect as the first time.  Pascaline and Patrick are wonderful hosts providing the most calm and nurturing of environments.  On each visit we have had the large room on the ground floor with doors that open on to a small wooden deck with two chairs and a sunshade.  This is where we would happily return from our wanderings in the late afternoon to make ourselves a cup of tea and sit reading in the sunshine with only the sound of the birds and bees to bother us. The garden and flowers are gorgeous.  Breakfast is a feast set at a table large enough to seat guests from all five of the rooms available.  Pascaline makes sure that we all know each other and whilst some are happy to eat and leave, others stay to chat.  We very much enjoyed meeting a young German couple and hope to keep in touch with them.
If you are seeking peace and quiet combined with wonderful warm hospitality, come to Kerlilou.

Perfect!

Kerlilou is a large, well-appointed, old granite cottage in a quiet backwater of Brittany.  It is run by Pascaline and Patrick Cortopassi.  Pascoline is patently an anglophile - she loves Cornwall (easily reached via Roscoff), Yorkshire and the Cotswolds; her daughter works in England and she has many little English nick-nacks and ornaments and speaks very good English.

Her home is well-appointed and a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside.  She provides a typical French breakfast and there are facilities in the large bedrooms for tea and coffee.  Our room was large and had a shower-room and WC en suite.  Wi-Fi is on tap.

I can recommend Kerlilou as a first class bed & breakfast base for the area.

Ideal B&B for an English Visitor

Ok so let's start:
Location is perfect!! Absolutely perfect! Only negative is you need a car, but other than that it is simply amazing. It is outside the villages around so it is very quiet, yet you are not scared during the night! There is a parking space for all guests, the house and the rooms are very clean. Ok the mattress could have been better but the way this place feels you up with energy and makes your mood, you don't really care in the end.
The lady and her husband are very sweet and discreet and ready to help you with anything you need!
The wifi does not work most of the time in the room, but if you are in need of internet you can go to the dining room and use the locked one.
Breakfast is served in the main dining room in a big table where all the guests sit together (i kind of liked that even though i always like more private breakfasts). Only negative is there are only sweets as is common in France, and personally i do not eat sweets in the morning. However, this time i did and everything was fresh and delicious.
There are restaurants in nearby villages so you can find the basic staff.
It is also important to say that the room was huge and apart from a double bed there was also a single bed and a crib/bed. I think it is ideal also for families with children!!

All in all i really liked my staying there and i will make sure i will go back at some point...

The most beautiful accomodation i have ever seen!

Patrick and Pascaline renovated this charming rural cottage when they retired. It is well appointed and full of character. There are ground floor rooms to cater for people with reduced mobility and we were allowed to park on the grass right in front of our room.

Our hosts were most helpful in advising on places to visit. We were lucky enough to be there at the time of a Breton Pardon and they gave us tips on approaching local officials for permission to park where my husband would not have too far to walk.

Pascaline does not provide a regular table d'hote, but do take the opportunity to enjoy her cooking if one is on offer.

A Breton idyll

There is no doubt this accomodation is within a beautiful setting and the house is wonderful, it is decorated well and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. I had some valuable nights' sleep in a very cosy bed. The breakfast was nice, the house smells lovely and the fresh flowers add value.
I would have liked to give this accomodation full marks however I was disappointed with the service. I discovered that they didn't credit cards the day before I had to pay. There was no internet in the room for 3 out of 4 days that I was there despite informing them about it. The room was a little dusty under beds, lampshades etc and the beds weren't made daily, or the biscuits replenished on one day. I had arranged to leave at 8am on the last day of my stay, however when I went down for breakfast the table wasn't prepared and so I went  back to my room for half an hour to allow someone to set the table. 
Overall I would stay there again, but not on my own as this is an expensive luxury for one, but reasonable both cost and comfort for two people.
