This hotel is good for our family. Simple and clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly stuff. Location is good when you travel with car, highway is near, but still hotel is quiet. Short distance to walk to city centre.

Simple,no frills budget hotel.Great to use as a base.Clean rooms,great powerful shower,good hot water.
The only thing was no facility in the room to make a hot drink.Staff we polite and efficient and helpful.
I didnt take the breakfast option but it look plentiful. Id certainly stay here again

Great,clean and comfortable

A good hotel out of the city center but great for someone looking for just one night of good sleep. Free parking and a fast check-in.

Another good point: if you're looking to go on the Lindt factory shop, this is a good hotel. It's close and easy to reach the shop.

One night hotel with a great stay


I normally look for a cheaper F1, but the best value locally appeared to be the IBIS. At twice the rate of an F1, I was pleased to see the extra €25 really does make a difference.
The warm welcome was genuine.
The room was extremely clean and did not smell of smoke.
The bed was comfortable and the room quiet.
And  the ensuite toilet and shower all definitely made the extra cost worthwhile.  Sometimes it makes sense to pay a little extra.

Easy stop on autobahn

three of us going to the F1 at Spa for the first time . Aachen was recommended as a good bolt- hole.
City is lively with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from .
Hotel is a 6 minute drive into the centre, is easily accessed of the motorway .
Easy check in , pleasant staff . Rooms a bit basic and tatty round the edges , but what do you expect with the "Budget" tag. Perfectly OK for us .
A basic all you can eat buffet  breakfast set us up for the day .

August weekend in Aachen

easy to reach, standard beds for IBIS hotels, checkin & breakfast were good. the rooms use codes rather than cards which makes checkin and checkout easy. 
The beds were rather hard for our taste. To our surprise the hotel has no elevator.

budget hotel

Used as a stop over on way to Frankfurt, not impressed.
Rooms are very small and really basic, walls in our rooms were filthy, no plugs for sinks, tiny duvets, pillows Were ok had our own also. Reception is only part time with check in machines with codes and PIN numbers, some ground floor rooms have parking spaces inches  from windows.
The only reason I gave it a 2 rating was the shower, which was pretty good, but what’s with the glass door anyone else in the room can see through on way tithe toilet.

BUDGET HOTEL !!

The hotel is located close to the Autobahn in a commercial area. We found some space in the parking lot right next to the building. It was very easy to check-in using the check-in kiosk in the middle of the night. 

Everything is super small which is okay, but the bed was also quite hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite disappointing by German measures. Just some continental breakfast with a small selection of breakfast goods that did not taste fresh. Looks much better in the pictures than it actually is.

Not recommended - rather spend some more money
