This quaint little hotel is within walking distance of the train station and also within walking distance of the main sites in the old town.  It is located on a quiet street with a small creek running behind it.  As we did not have a car, this is a very convenient location.

Our room was spacious and clean with a very nice modern bathroom.  The electronic door locks were a little quirky, but with a little practice it was no problem.

Since it is a small hotel, the breakfast was modest by German standards but still provided fresh cheese, cold cuts, bread, soft-boiled eggs, vegetables, yogurt, juice, and coffee.

The staff is very kind and helpful.  They responded quickly to some emails we sent prior to the trip and provided all of the information that we needed to plan for our stay.

Convenient location and friendly service

Friendly, helpful reception. The rooms are spacious, clean and in good condition. Parking area at the rear is very convenient. The town centre is in easy walking distance. We are happy that we chose this hotel and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Good hotel in an ideal location for exploring Coburg and surrounding area

This hotel was very clean and the rooms were big. There is a lot of parking, which is great because it only takes about 5 minutes to get to the part of Coburg you want to see. I didn't have breakfast because I usually don't have a chance, so I can't comment on that. I'm up and running to discover the area much too early. The people were very nice and I would stay here again. I did like the outside of the hotel, as well. The central station is close-by.

Great Price for An Intimate and Clean Hotel Near the Center of it All in Coburg

Booked a Superior Room, incl breakfast for 3 nights.
We arrived in Coburg by train and the hotel is located out to the left of the train station along the street parallel to the rail lines. Its about 250 m and an easy bag drag. 
There is about 6 steps upto the hotel.

One lift services the building. There is a snack vending machine located towards the rear entrance from the car park.
Our first room allocated on the 3rd floor (room 305, I think) did not suit as it had a very small bathroom as it did not match the photos on the website for a Superior room, but the lady graciously reallocated us Room 209, which suited us much better.
It faces the road and the rail tracks. There is an entrance hallway, where our luggage could be placed and a closet with safe,  robes and an umbrella.
Our bed area had a tv, 1 easy chair and a desk and chair and an empty bar fridge. The beds are very comfortable. The 2 windows are very effectively doubled glazed. Much needed since the road noise and train noise (incl train announcements) is loud. Absolutely silent, though, when the windows are closed. 
Wifi is free and fast.
The bathroom was a really good size and is modern. The shower works well and there is room for our own toilettries. The window in here is openable and double glazed also. Note that there is no drying rack, which tourists generally need.
There is wall heating in both the bathroom and bedroom.
Breakfast is held downstairs in a bare room. The food is of good quality. Fruit juice, fresh fruit, limited choice cereal, meats and cheese and bread rolls, jams and honey. Hot food consists of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee is made for you.
The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Its about a 20 minutes easy flat walk into the main square, but its a pleasant walk.
This hotel provided everything we needed but there is nothing to make it stand out from all the others we stayed at over a 6 week period

Good Location for Train Users

I stayed here for a night during my trip to Coburg. Was quite easy to find the place, as i had my navi set. The hotel has a parking lot, which is important in my opinion in Coburg. 5 minutes away by foot from the Altstadt. 

Rooms are clean, not the best looking/fancy equipment but clean, that is a plus. I left too early, so could not have the chance to get a breakfast. Would i stay here if i come back again? Yes.
