Reception girl was Asiatic and I suspect not very comfortable with English but it worked out just fine, I was there for business. Single room with dual beds. Sheets were decently clean, the room ordered if a bit threadbare, but I even got slippers for the night :)

Night and morning temperature nice and cozy, TV set at bed's end. Bathroom was shared but I didn't care that much (used once during the night, was clean but very tight), since I even got sink/mirror in the room.

All this for 28 EUR (price very much matters to me, I'd do without many things if that could lower the price, but this was pretty much complete)... Despite perfectly understanding many complaints I'd book the place again even with a bit of markup, I also must point out that traffic of the below quite trafficked road was decently shielded (at least in my book) from the dual layer big glass window.

Short stay for a day, I guess you don't come here for tourism

The hostel have a good location, not far from the metro and the bus lines (we personaly each time took the metro and walked back to the hostel, because the town around is lovely).
Quite cheap, rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff let us choose between a few rooms.
You can borrow an hair-dryer and some equipements against a bail.

We had a nice stay, if we come back we won't hesitate to come here!

Quite a good stay

We went there in the summer, the rooms were small and the bed was kinda awful. We could also hear noises from other rooms as well (poorly sound-proof). 
Location-wise, the hotel is not in Hamburg but Bergerdorf (by the look from the map, it is not far from the city centre but actually you have to take a 30-min trains to get there, plus another bus).
The town itself is a nice small modern town with a small pretty castle. I think it is nice to live there but to stay for visiting Hamburg, you should reconsider.

Not a really good experience but the town was nice

Due to train delay we were not able to arrive at check-in time, but we still arrived at a time were the owner/manager was awake and able to speak with us.
We explained the situation and why we were not able to contact him (no battery on the phone) and his answer was "It´s your problem! You didn't arrive on time so it´s a no-show (he charges us 90% of the 2 nights reservation and after contacting Booking.com we were told that our room was already sold!)
So, we were oblige to look for a place to stay, in the middle of the night,  and not only we lost the 1st but also the 2nd night.
I cannot express more clearly how rude he was and how strongly I recommend everyone that is thinking on stay at this place to please reconsider!
Price is not everything!

Absolutely no respect for you has a guest or person!

Never before have we stayed in a dive as shabby as this. What was indicated as a 2-bedroomed apartment turned out to be a 1st floor with a number of rooms sharing communal bathroom facilities. The booking was made on the basis of photographs displayed. These were fraudulent and did not reflect the reality. There's an overpowering "aroma" of Chinese cooking in the dodgy reception area, and the sheets were threadbare, although fairly clean. Never again - this is a place to be avoided at all costs - also because of the noisy main road next to this so-called hotel. You have been warned.
