We were warmly greeted and very efficiently checked in. As we arrived in Hamburg on an early flight from UK for a very minimal additional fee we were allowed our rooms before the official time.  The hotel lounge was very spacious and comfortable, our rooms (premier Plus) were up to the usual Premier Inn standard,  spacious and very well equipped even with iron and ironing board and Nespresso coffee maker and capsules besides the usual kettle and tea sachets.  The ensuite was excellent, the rain shower great with rapid hot water and the towels very good.  There was always staff available if required and all spoke fluent English.  This is the ideal hotel for discovering Hamburg; I have previously stayed in  St Pauli which was not central in the city as was this Premier Inn.  Taxis are available at very short notice from reception.  In spite of being on a main Hamburg truck route there was no noise inconvenience, all seven floors reached by efficient lifts.  We did not have any meals at the hotel but cannot comment but imagine they were up to Premier Inn usual high standard.  Thoroughly recommendable

An excellent location when visiting Hamburg

With premier inn you get a great bed and a simple room, not basic but not luxury. We upgraded to a Premier Plus at this hotel and the bedroom was excellent. Exverything we needed, great proximity to Hagencity and a short walk to both the centre of the city (Rathaus) and Miniaturland (must see).

Great location and excellent hotel

We stayed in the Premier Inn City Centre hotel in Hambug. Great location - near the train station and the centre and overlooking the Hafen City UNESCO world heritage site. Rooms were comfortable and adequately spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, beyond merely courteous. Special commendation for Julie on the desk who was particularly helpful to us.

Great stay in Hamburg

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. It was extremely clean as well. The customer service was very good ( I spoke to Roman a couple of times and he was incredible, not only for the tourist infomation provided but also his personality)
Overall they were all very efficient and friendly. 

Amazing. Highly recommended. It is very close to the CBD.

Great service from the friendly staff.  Rooms are clean and up to date, the location was great and within walking distance to the Christmas Market, townhall and the main shopping district... highly recommended.  The kids found one in particularly accommodating and fun... thanks Marco!

Fantastic service and location

Excellent location.  Very friendly staff and accommodating every need.  Good quality breakfast.  Rooms ‘typical’ Premier Inn - clean and modern.  Great range of TV channels.  Extremely good location - very central for Christmas markets and maritime museum.  Good value for money for time of year.  Recommended.

Excellent location and facilities

The location was really good, 2 mins from the Underground. 
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was really good and the rooms were great as well.
Near a road but no noise because of triple glazing.
Would use again.

Great place

For me, this hotel was in a great location which is why I selected it. It turned out to be an even better location than I expected, only a block from the business office I visited. That turned out to be good since it snowed like crazy during my stay. 

It’s a business hotel, not fancy but perfectly adequate to my needs. Though the room was larger than in many hotels where I’ve stayed lately and there was both a desk chair AND a reading chair. It also had a water kettle for tea or instant coffee (I travel with my own) and a coffee maker with pods. The room has a small fridge which contained two large bottles of water when I arrived. 

The free wifi was adequate on most days, and on the day I had Zoom calls, I upgraded which worked out fine. 

Breakfast is not included with the room cost. The breakfast buffet is adequate, though there was very little for people like me who need gluten free. The coffee service was good. The breakfast staff was very accessible and kept the place cleaned and tables available. 

Check in and out went smoothly and my room had an interesting view. 

Cons: 1) There is road construction in front of the main door, which makes taxi parking & service difficult. Not the hotel’s fault but it did make arriving awkward. 
 2) The thermostat in the room didn’t respond at all to changes and it got quite chilly in the room with the snow temps outside.

Great location- for me

Poor check in. The guy on the desk was so rude. No greeting just said “passport” if he had smiled his face may have cracked. Very miserable . He started arguing with me as the card machine showed the incorrect amount . I told him to give me to time to check it out and showed him my booking confirmation at which point he insisted that was the amount that he was going to charge . Needs some serious customer service training as he was definitely going to charge incorrect amount. Maybe he could try a smile when greeting new guests. Will update review once we completed our weekend with regards service . The location is good. The room spotless clean and very cosy

In need of serious customer service from the gentleman on front desk . Obviously doesn’t like his job

I made a reservation to this hotel from their web-site. Then, I wanted to upgrade to family room. 

Their web-site does NOT work properly. I couldn't reach my existing reservation from their web-site. They do not have any email address in their web-site as well. 

That's why I am required to call the reception. A lady in the reception answered my call and requested the following information. 

My Booking Reference
My Name and Surname
My Full Address

I gave all of the information correctly. However, my address is in TURKISH. That's why the lady in reception couldn't understand my address properly which is a very normal case. 

Then she told that she couldn't verify my address and she rejected to talk and she hang off the phone to my face. 

It is really unbelievable to request full address for verification because it is in TURKISH. I gave the booking reference, name and surname. Who else may know my these information?

She didn't even gave hotel email address to write the address in email. This is so unbelievable. 

How can she hang off the phone to a customer?
It is very disrespectful
