I had the privilege of staying at the Ramsteiner-Hof hotel for 6 consecutive months and I must say, it was hands down one of the best lodging experiences I’ve had. The owner and staff have the utmost hospitality while going above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed during your stay. Even during the COVID-19 Pandemic they were able to safely accommodate a comfortable environment that made it feel like a home away from home. This will be my first choice to stay if I’m ever in the area again!

The friendliest staff you could ask for!

We stayed in the Ramsteiner Hof as a couple and by far this was my best hotel experience in this area. 
The rooms are very clean, spacious, well maintained and the typical German flair. 
Staff is super friendly and they always go the extra mile for your needs and your well being. 
It doesn't matter if you stay long term o with your family some days, this hotel is the right place for everyone. 
Highly recommend and we hope that we are soon back in Germany. 


Best Hotel In Ramstein and Area

I spent 90 days at the Ramsteiner Hof Hotel on business and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The extended stay rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.  The staff is friendly, professional and focused on providing excellent customer service.  The hotel parking is close to the building and the onsite amenities are great.  The traditional German breakfast buffet was filled daily with fresh seasonal fruits, assorted meats, cheese, breads, juices and hot food options!  The hotel location is fantastic and is within walking distance to various restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, dry cleaners, retail stores and other businesses.  The hotel is located within driving distance conveniently from Frankfurt International and or Frankfurt Hahn airports. You will get to know the owners of this historic hotel ,Stefan and Tonya Hechler, and will enjoy their hospitality. They strive to keep their guests happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Ramsteiner Hof Hotel to anyone that has high standards and does not want to be disappointed.

Loved, Loved, Loved this Charming German Hotel!

I have the opportunity to visit this beautiful hotel   The atmosphere is amazing. It’s an iconic hotel in the city with more than 300 years   the hotel is run by the family so its make it super special your stay 

Friendly, warm, iconic 

A big thank you to Stefan and his staff.  Nice room, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.  Being away from home for 6 weeks was certainly made easier and more pleasant.  Recommend highly and will stay there if I am asked to return.

45 day business trip

For a place with no hype, this was just about perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable and the daily breakfast superb. Value was tops.  It is quiet, but an easy walk to downtown.  Highly recommended.

Unassuming but excellent accomodations

This 300 year old Inn is located close to Ramstein AB, has great WiFi, delicious breakfasts, and clean rooms. The Hechler family takes care of their guests. The suites, if available are large and comfortable.

Clean, friendly and close to the Air Base

This hotel was a great welcome to Germany for me.  Overall, I'd give it a 4.5

Rooms - 4:  Comfortable bed with all the basics. The kitchenette (for rooms with a kitchenette) was missing a few things (didn't have a cutting knife or a way to strain spaghetti).  Along a moderately traveled road and summer without air conditioning requires the windows to be open, so it was slightly loud.

Staff - 5:  They were helpful and ready to attend to any needs.

Location - 5:  Perfect balance with proximity to town, shopping, restauarants, but also several walking/running trails.  

Breakfast - 5: Coooked to order eggs, pancakes or waffles along with the traditional European fare (cheese, meats and breads) and a great selection of fresh fruit.

Extras - 4: More than adequate parking and also close proximity to the train station.  Only a single washing machine for all the guests doing laundry to share.  Gym looked nice, but I was enjoying the running trails too much to try it.
