Stayed one night at the Hotel Barbarossa. The location was very good. Close to the trainstation, city center and all the main sightseeings. 

The room itself was decent for three people to stay. There was even an airconditioner in the room, but it wasn't that hot a day, so we didn't need it this time.

The hotel breakfast on the other hand was a disappointment. It was 14€/person and was not worth the price. We did get asked for coffee or black/green tea, which was nice. However, some of the food had gone sour. The spreads had mold growing in them, which made us to question the other foods as well. 
The boiled eggs were raw, even the egg whites were still running. The fruits were not fresh, for example the sliced pineapple had a weird taste in it. There was also an empty Nutella jar on the table and no replacement, even though we seemed to be the only guests eating breakfast.

Once we complained, we received apologizies and got a refund for 1/3 of the breakfast price. We were also asked not to write a bad review if we were given the refund as such problems have happened before. I understand the person was just following instructions from the boss, but trying to buy us from writing bad reviews felt outrageous. 

To summarize: okay place to stay, but have your breakfast elsewhere.

Okay hotel, but disappointing breakfast

I stayed for one night in Barbarossa hotel in May, the hotel is situated on the 4th floor in a really strategic location. Five minutes walk from the train station. 
The room was Cody with a lot of character and had all the basics. It was clean but the only problem for me was the noise (because of the birds on the roof of the building I guess)! 
Breakfast was modest with few options but was enough. I would definitely recommend this place :) 
Ps: staff were very friendly and attentive :D

Cosby with a lot of character 

Bio breakfast is available for 12 euro and includes a range of juices, cheese, meats, olives, bread and jams. Friendly family run hotel with rooms with bathrooms. Each room is decorated differently. Great location as footsteps away from main Theatreplatz and shops, food places and trains. Catch the train from Hauptbahnhof to the hotel with a few lines running straight there. The Wurtzburg Residenz is just a couple of hundred meters down the road on the same street. Easy walk to see this main attraction. Good security and facilities.

Friendly family run hotel

Good location. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops near by. If you arrive by car, there is a parking hall near by (circa 200 metres). Rooms are quite small. Bathroom was a bit stinky (because the house is old??). We did not have breakfast but it is available on extra cost.

Good location

Decided to stay in Wurzburg for our final night in Germany and could not have been happier.  This hotel was an easy five minute walk to the train station and the service was extremely friendly.  Clean, comfortable rooms above a medical building -- so very quiet at night.

Pleasant stay on our last night in Germany

On the Webpage of the hotel it is said that parking is possible. But when you arrive you have no possibility. After I've tried twice to find a parking area I have cancelled my room. the receptionist promised that no costs will occur for me. But the owner had charged my credit card. I´m not amused and will never go to this hotel again
