The apartment we stayed in wasn’t the best, firstly it was way too hot in the room and we couldn’t turn the radiators off, there was ants on and around the table, the door handle kept breaking and we had to keep screwing it on and the shower was pretty useless. Also when we arrived at the apartment it wasn’t clear from the email where to get your key from so we were walking around for a while waiting for someone to bring us a key. However it was a nice size and a good location but wouldn’t stay here again

Wouldn’t recommend but location was great

I come to visit Budapest together with my family and had a very nice experience here. The apartment was close to everything, though in a noisy area, you couldn't hear anything at night, The host was very friendly and helpful. Everything was just as advertised.

but be carefull with apartment service:
1. they might forget! to reserve the transfer from airport (even if approved it!)
2. the apartment address might be another not that you booked (Terez kr 6 or 19 or 39).

Perfect location but awful service

Not a nice place to stay at all. I booked an apartment for our 4 day break in the city, it was cheap but I understood why when we arrived. The rule was to contact the owner 24 hours prior to arrange an arrival time. I did this, 6pm, we liaised and his driver was going to pick us up at the airport for a fee. When we arrived at the airport, it was a taxi, so we assumed we would meet the owner at the property. 3 hours we had to wait after we were dropped off to be let in and the owner did not even apologise at all, yet we had arranged 6pm in emails prior. He was rude and then tried to rip us off with the city tax. He attempted to over charge us £30 and blamed his 'bad english' but believe me his English was fine, it was only when my husband said hang on that's is not right did he suddenly develop language barrier difficulties. Wi-Fi was promised, which did not work, the safe, that was promised, and believe me in that area you need a safe, was broken, he said he would return the next day to fix, but we never saw him again. The cube that was listed as an apartment was small, broken doors on the wardrobes and we had no hot water for 2 days. The owner was unresponsive to text messages, at all, his welcome was rude and his service throughout the stay was awful. Avoid and book elsewhere. Even if this is coming in cheap... avoid, it will taint your view on Budapest.
