We enjoyed our stay in this quiet and interesting building, very close to restaurants, bars and transport.  We walked from here to all the tourist attractions and everything was easy to find.  The owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  The apartment had a good quality mattress and all you needed to make yourselves at home, including a seating area and kitchen.  The shops were very close for all your needs.  Overall good value and a very positive experience.

Cosy, Comfortable and Well Located

We stayed in this apartment which has a lot of history behind it,for nearly one week. Its very big and roomy, bedroom is separate from living /kitchenette area. Kitchenette is fully equipped with everything to cook and prepare meals. There is also a washing machine and iron. Shower is really good with loads of hot water.The apartment is off the main street with other apartments with a courtyard in the middle.Very quiet at night. There is two supermarkets, places to eat and a bar all within a few minutes walking distance, and across the road you can catch the public transport(tram). The owner Andras was very helpful and informative.
Budapest is a beautiful and busy city,with lots to see and do.And it has brilliant public transport, (trams, buses, metro,ect) which is cheap,so its very easy to get around.
We really enjoyed our holiday here and this apartment was very comfortable to stay in.

Excellent location!!

I found this wonderful apartment via Booking.com, a site which I use regularly as it offers smaller apartments more suitable for solo travellers and found Andreas, the owner to be a wonderful host. He emailed as soon as the booking was made to introduce himselt and sent a long list full of tips and hints and things to see and do around the city. I contacted him nearer the time to confirm payment details and duly transferred the funds to his account. As a result when I arrived I found that he had upgraded me. It seems that he keeps a ground floor apartment specially for guests that help him by paying in advance and I had hit the jackpot. 

I must admit that there was a small part of me that was was slightly disappointed not to get the apartment with a mezanine that I had booked, but I soon realised how much better this one was as it meamt there were no stairs to walk up and down, which has to be a good thing.  All of his apartments are very close to the city centre, and well within walking distance of most things - akthough you may need to get the metro for certain things. They are right on the fringes of the student area which means that etaing out is muich better value for money. There are several metro stations close by if you need them, with a supermarket and bank almost literally across the street.   

The aparment I ended up with was spacious and beautifully furnished with everything I needed, facing inwards around a large central courtyard. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water with plugs and sockets all in the right places for charging phones and so on. The best feature was the wonderful wooden cabinet with ornate mirror behind it which once mounted will make a spectacular feature - Andreas explained it is so heavy that he needs four friends to help him lift it. Budapest is a beautiful and very safe city for a woman travelling alone and Andreas provided a welcoming place to retreat back to at the end of a day with friendly Hungarian hospitality, I really couldn't have asked for any more.

it is a good place, nearby there are many markets, i suggest  you the penny market. However, in front of the building you can find the tram that is always open 24h. So ypu have all you need to spend good holidays in Budapest.

From Checkin to Checkout, Andras helped us a lot through his guidance and tips for the trip. 
Apartment was excellent with everything we wanted present.
Location of Apartment is just few steps away from public transport, currency exchange, restaurant, grocery, etc whatever you need. 
We would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place to Enjoy Budapest

We stayed for five days in Andras 's Amazing apartment, and we couldn't have a warmer welcome. Andras told us all about the neighbourhood and the city in the first half hour we met him. The room was spacious and very clean, with wonderful decorum in the room and outside. The location is great, in the heart in the city, and literally in fron of the tramway. All in all, definitely recommended!

Amazing!

I booked this place for my elderly parents and they loved everything about their stay at RingAvenue, especially the host's hospitality and the location of the apartment. András went to great lenghts to make sure my parents felt comfortable. The flat is located in a safe area full of affordable restaurants and cafes. 

Excellent stay

Andras will contact you with details of how to find the apartment when you book and is a wealth of information throughout your stay as well as being an excellent, friendly host. The apartment is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions but the tram is directly outside if you want to use it. There are shops, a bar and resteraunts very close. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well equipped, allowing you to self cater if you wish, and has very fast Wifi. This must be the best value accommodation in Budapest.

Outstanding apartment, location and hospitality.

Central apparment with good ammenities. We vosited budapest as a family with an 18 month child. Andras was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. The apartment was full of character and had everthing we needed in a base for our trip. Its in a central location in a trendy, relaxed area. Food and drink prices are much cheaper in this area and become more expensive the nearer the river you eat. We ate at Zappa a couple of times and at the same square for breakfast. Lovely food and excellent value. We walked to all of the sites from the holtel and speant each full dau in a different area. There is a supermarket two miniutes across the road. Would recommend as an excellent base for a trip in budapest

Quirky central appartment

We stayed at 47 Jozsef  Korut  apartment with its typically old Hungarian decor, providing an ideal base for a short city stay. This accommodation was clean and secure with a nice shower and self-catering facilities. Andres, our fluent English speaking contact was a gem, offering lots of useful advicett and responding promptly to all of our enquiries. He also collected us from the airport even with our late arrival. If you're on a tight budget and are ok with dated decor and furnishings, this apartment is well worth your consideration.
With the apartment being in a student area we could benefit from the many cheaper bars and eating places as compared to the more expensive main tourist areas closer to the Danube. Whilst there is a huge choice of food type and places to eat and drink, a full week at restaurant food can begin to lose its appeal. We were glad to discover the nearby Colvin Plaza where with a huge choice of fast foods at budget prices. 
It was necessary to use public transport to reach most of the major attractions closer to the Danube, though some were within walking distance. Being seniors, we could use our EU passport to access all of the public transport free of charge and many payable attractions at a reduction.
We only took GBP and changed it at the many street front currency exchanges, providing an instant conversion into HUF's. The local rates are better than at home, so use them with relative confidence but do your research first.
The 100E airport bus is now available at 20min intervals, and is well worth your consideration, especially to seniors as it's included within the free public transport provision.
To sum up, Budapest is full of interest and should be on everyone's tick list. However, whilst a few days might be fine, we won't be staying a full week in such basic accommodation in future. It's a more upmarket room with a view for us next time!
