La Terazza Apartment was perfect.  Clean & well equipped with stunning views of the city from the huge private terrace.  Public transport options to and from the city center are many and frequent. You could also walk to to castle if so inclined. The Management (Kati) is friendly, informative and extremely responsive.  1 double bed (2 adults) and a sleeper couch (2 single beds) make it perfect for a couple or a small family.  Had a great first visit to Budapest thanks to Budahome  Apartments.  Would book again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Apartment & well placed

We booked "La terraza"apartment and that was a great choice! Apartament is very well equipped, well communicated ( even during night hours) located very close to the center. I kitchen you can find everything what is neseccery to prepare breakfast or even to cook some easy meal. Terrace is beautiful with great view - we could watch from that the fireworks show during Saint Istvan Day! But what's the best is the owner - always answer very fast and is very very helpful! thanks to this you can feel very taken care of:):)  Near the place are two supermarkets ( LIDL and SPare) nice restaurant, and great park. Really worth to rent that apartment. We are planning to come back next year, and for sure we will be back to BUDA APARTMENT!!

Great place to stay, very friendly and helpful owner and stuff, highly recommended

We booked the "La Terraza" apartment and a small room, "Citadella" as we were two couples and a child. The La Terraza apartment has a nice bedroom, living room, kitchen and terrace ... and also a washing machine! The Citadella is small, and we used it as our comfy bedroom & bathroom. The terrace has carpeting that got wet in the rain one day, making it squelchy.

The kitchen was well equipped, we used it for breakfast and meals. There's a small grocery store very nearby. The living room has a dining table in it, as well as a sofa-bed.

The location is excellent. You see the Palace from the window, and it's across the street from a huge and scenic park. The Citadella is a short walk, with the best views of the beautiful city of Budapest. The Danube is 700m, from the apartment. The bus stop is just nearby. The file with notes they have in each room is very helpful, provides all these tips and more.

Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The owner was available on WhatsApp. She helped us with our luggage & airport taxi (checkout from Budahome, luggage picked up by the taxi company on checkout, then we were driven to the airport after dinner in Pest).

The free food & drink in the fridge was an unexpected bonus.

Great location, bang-for-the-buck rooms

the photos of the apartments suggest that these are large and airy. the apartments are very small, you could not stand in the bath without hitting your head on the ceiling. the bath towels had a bad smell, and the sheets too. the location was ok as it had bus stop nearby. the internet was terrible. the staff were friendly and gave great tour tips and location. the kitchen was well equipped.

Tiny and dirty apartment

Perfect location, queit place (despite the fact that it's near a main street and there is a bus at 2mins walking distance). Nice park across the street. Our apartment had great view to the Parliament which was amazing to be seen at night. The place was equipped with all basics you may need for a few nights stay plus coffe & tea. It was comfortable and warm for the cold November nights.
We were really astonished by the great service of the reservations manager and people at the very place. They were helpful and friendly. 
And all of this for affordable price. :)

Cosy place to stay and nice people to talk

We were four couples staying in four BudaHome apartments all in the same building, and the units were perfect for our sightseeing vacation.
   While La Terrazza is the best, with a big living room and a spacious terrace, we all had everything we needed -- towels, toilet paper, sundries, coffee, kitchenware, etc. I was in Citadella, which has a large bed, an equipped kitchenette, a decent bathroom -- all clean and well-kept. I used a small room with bunk beds next door as a one-person yoga studio. The other apartments are smaller, but we knew that going in and they are priced accordingly.
   The apartments are across the street from a large hilly park with walking trails and great statues throughout; I especially liked the Philosophical Garden. They're walking distance to Buda Castle and the Gellert Spa, and a quick bus ride to everywhere else; a public bus stop is essentially around the corner, and the busses seemed to arrive every five minutes at all times of day. A small grocery store is around the corner, and a larger nicer one is a short walk up a pretty hill in a residential neighborhood.
   BudaHome Apartments is a solid affordable option for a stay in Budapest. I recommend it.

Excellent value for the price

Perfect location. The apartment was clean,functional, furnished with taste. Small minus is only one bathroom for 5 people. Our hosts were very helpful and wellcoming. Kati arranged for us airport tranportation, which was very convenient for us. She kept in touch to be sure that everything is ok and if we need any assistance. We are grateful for this care and attention. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
